I’m 5’5 and 100lbs and this is great for a petite mom. Using this with baby number three and wish I’d had it for my other two!! **Q: Does this have head support for newborns?** A: Yes, the Embrace baby carrier does have head support for newborns. It was designed for the newborn phase. Babies must meet the minimum 20 inches/50.8 cm height and 7 lbs./3.2 kg weight. The Embrace baby carrier adjusts to your newborn baby when the waist belt is folded in twice in the Newborn Mode – Facing In position by shortening the back panel and narrowing the seat width to keep baby close enough to kiss. **Q: is this carrier suitable to use for summer?** A: The Embrace is made of light-weight knit fabric that is slightly stretchy, yet supportive - making it an ideal choice for summer. **Q: Can you breastfeed baby easily in the carrier?** A: Yes, as with all Ergobaby Carriers you can breastfeed while on the go. This can be done in the facing in carry positions. Just loosen the shoulder straps a bit and slightly lower baby to position on your breast. For safety, always stay seated when nursing in a carrier. Always stay vigilant while baby is nursing, and re-position after feeding, so baby’s face is not pressed against your body. Baby should be moved to recommended carrying position immediately after breastfeeding, remove slack from straps, and adjust. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ergobaby Embrace Cozy Newborn Baby Wrap Carrier (7-25 Pounds), Ponte Knit, Pure Black - Comfy Cubs Muslin Burp Cloths 20" x 10", Pack of 10 - Large, 6-Layer, Ultra Absorbent 100% Cotton for Baby Drool and Messes - Soft, Safe & Gentle Baby Burp Cloths for Boys & Girls - Multi - Love to Dream Swaddle UP, Blue, Small, 7-13 lbs., Dramatically Better Sleep, Allow Baby to Sleep in Their Preferred arms up Position for self-Soothing, snug fit Calms Startle Reflex --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/347246168-ergobaby-embrace-cozy-newborn-baby-wrap-carrier-7-25-pounds](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/347246168-ergobaby-embrace-cozy-newborn-baby-wrap-carrier-7-25-pounds) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
