if this is 110 volts how can it work on 240 volts

Do not use this with transformer that reduces it from 240 to 110 volts. It will work but not properly. The 110 v version is made for the American market and should not be used in the uk with a step down transformer. It’s something to do with the frequency of UK voltage which differs to the USA variant. (50Hz to 60Hz). The result is the timer clock used will mis function and you cannot use it correctly. Believe me I tried so have first hand experience of this. Only use the 240V version in Uk.

what is the difference between this and the af300

The AF3000 is the UK version. The DZ401 is larger but it is also the US version and therefore cannot be used directly on UK mains as the voltage is different. Very dodgy description

How big is each compartment? Big enough to roast a chicken?

Dont buy it you get a stainless steel bowl with a halogen light on top its not the item advertised

Can you change to Celsius rather than Fahrenheit for cooking temperature?

Sorry I answered it wrong. The American version is in Fahrenheit and the European in Celsius. That’s the settings!
