Linen Wash Classic Scent Clean Vintage Precious Heirloom Linens Safely, One 32 fl oz

First - I do love this detergent. I'm a huge fan of the scent, though I will warn people that it's strong. I like that (it's a huge positive to me), but to the scent sensitive - be aware. It was so strong, that when it was delivered to my office the smelled filled the entire (open office plan) work space, like the whole floor could smell it and were commenting on it.However, that was partly because the detergent was not sealed properly and leaked within and then out of its packaging. First the cap was not on tightly - it was on, just need to be turned another half a turn. Then the sticker/plastic that was supposed to cover the opening (you know - the stuff that is sealed to the edges of the opening) was not sealed properly. About half was not sealed/stuck to the edges - like the glue had disolved or gone bad. On the one hand - thankfully, only about a 1/8-1/4 of the bottle leaked out, on the other - that's still a lot of product and definitely owe the guy who sorts and delivers the mail for my company because I'm sure he was not thrilled to have to deal with a sticky, very strongly scented package.So, 5 stars for the product, 1 star for packaging (because this seems to be from how the product was made/sealed, not necessarily a shipping issue) for an average of 3 stars.

I was really looking forward to getting this linen wash in, expecting a highly fragrant product, based upon description and reviews. I have purchased another brand of fine linen wash in the past, which I was satisfied with, but decided to give this one a solely try based upon reviews. The fragrance is very subtle, and honestly, almost non existent on my throws after drying. This is disappointing, given the cost. I was hoping for a lingering fragrance, which I definitely did not get.

This product hardly has any smell at all. The person who recommended it said it would make my bedding smell amazing. I feel like I got duped, and they refilled a bottle w All free & clear.

First let me say that I got this for my first set of linen sheets, so I don't have experience using anything else with linen. But as a soap in an HE machine, this works quite well and the scent is pleasant. I plan to try the silk wash next. I gave this 4 stars for "value for the money" only because the price is quite high compared to "highly commercial" laundry detergents I have been using on my other loads. When I compare the price to other linen washes however, this seems to fall in line.

This is the best stain releaser I have found. Works very well and very gentle on your fabrics. I dab a little on any stains and it always comes out of the washer cleaned.
