A book I can keep going back to!
This book was very well written, easy to read and I have found helpful on a daily basis. It’s very insightful and I will share it with members of my family, young and old, as I think everyone can benefit from this book!

Realign One's Thinking With Some Ideas and Practice
Everyone engages in cognitive distortions from time to time considering the impact of so much information and exposure, but a helpful daily guide such as this helps us to interact in proactive exercises in the form of preemptive engagement. Through daily segments in this book, we are made aware of how negative self and/or societal messaging can be realigned with a healthier analogies and thought processes. One doesn't need to begin on January 1, one can start anytime, but this would be a delightful addition to any daily planning tool.I can envision numerous uses for this thoughtful self-esteem guide such as journaling, a point of discussion for groups, or even just self- reflection. Of note, this would be a great addition to a middle or high school cohort as a guide for overall personal growth in the development of self-compassion and mindfulness in all interactions.

A Daily Dose of Positivity
In a time when it’s hard to feel good about the world, as well as your place therein, it is a welcome change to have a book such as this near to hand to help you along the road to finding your self-worth and self-forgiveness. I enjoyed reading the short snippets of truth and the many inspirational quotes. I did not have to commit to reading a lengthy tome to reinforce the message of self-esteem building nor was the writing heavy-handed; that was much appreciated. I highly recommend this book to all who wish a gentle push towards self-love as well as to those who wish a bit more daily mindfulness.

This Book is a Gift
A Year of Self Esteem by Judith Belmont is uplifting and inspiring, giving us the simple tools we need to recognize our self-worth and treat ourselves with kindness and acceptance. The daily lessons are worth reading over and over again until they become part of who we are. The book helped me recognize my own negative thinking and thought distortions, and the daily practices have changed the way I view myself and the way I interact with others. A Year of Self Esteem is a gift to yourself that will make you happier and more self-assured.

This book is not just for people with low self-esteem.
This book is for anyone who want to make a change in their life for the better!. It has some great ideas for long time life improvements and also for some quick changes! Good ideas and thought provoking changes in attitude. Not only for improvements in emotional or mental health but for physical life changes as well. i think it would be a great gift for young adults just starting out on their own as well seniors wanting to make some life changes

Respect and love for yourself and others
A wonderful, thought provoking, and uplifting primer on learning to love and respect yourself and others. Very easy to read, engaging, and chock full of helpful tips on looking at things in a positive and constructive way. The concept of a year's worth of daily reflections is very creative. This book is for everyone, not just those with low self esteem. Very well done!

This book offers a daily inspirational boost that is uplifting and energizing. It is like having a personal life coach on call 24-7. A very handy guide to boosting morale and increasing positive thinking which can enhance one’s self-confidence and overall happiness through better interpersonal relationships. I wish I had come across this helpful book years ago.

Valuable reference and/or gift!
Everyone thinks a year has to start on January 1 but having taught for so many years, my new year was always right after Labor Day. January 1 was just remembering to change the year when writing the date! This book can serve as the incentive to journal, a pick me up when you’re feeling down, a resource for note on special days and so much more! For example, sick of writing, wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness, on a wedding, anniversary, or birthday card? How about turning to the appropriate date and send a positive reflection!!! This is a fantastic gift for anyone but think emergency responders, healthcare providers, teachers, restaurant employees, or anyone providing service during these crazy times!
