Seems defective
I have many fountain pens, of all prices and types and expected this one to perform. It will not. Ink never makes it to the nib -- and yes the cartridge is correctly inserted -- and still nothing, not even with priming in the sink. Perhaps I just got a bad one, but I have no way of knowing that. Others rec'd this brand and so I thought I'd give a try. Waste of time and being returned.

Smooth write and good weighted pen!
Lovely pen, nice weight to hold and write with. Took a while to get the ink to flow, I held it under a tap for a second. It’s nice to go back to a fountain pen. It’s a smooth write too.
