What color paints are needed?

Hi, thanks for your interest in the Dutchman. I'm not sure exactly what your vision of the craft is that you will try to create, I think it would be safe to say that it would be good to purchase at least a spray can of some kind of brown for the hull, a spray can of black to detail some of the parts on the trees, probably some white Testor's for detailing, (or to be safe, maybe a complete set of Testor's colors that come in the little bottles). As you progress, it will become apparent to you the kinds of details that you would like to paint in different colors to bring out certain aspects of the craft. You might even want to paint the sails with a white spray paint. You'll probably like to get a gold or a brass colored Testor's bottle for detailing some of the "metal" parts on the ship. Just some ideas. Don't forget to pick up some brushes and a little paint thinner. Hope you have rewarding build! Cheers, Cap

Is this a pre-painted Kit?

No. You'll need glue and paint.

What is best and safest cements to use for this model?

Any name brand model cement will work well. Look for it where models are sold.

Where are the part numbers for each piece, or am I just supposed to spot each piece out of 300 pieces, from the drawings in the instruction?

The numbers are on the frame by the pieces, but they are small and are not raised from the plastic well enough
