I like the golden/white nature of the stones . . tumbled to excellent size ratio for the bonsai to feel comfortable with them. Nice pricing and excellent delivery time. Thank you, Brussel's Bonsai for this unifying under-plate. Maybe suggest the tray to go with the tree when I ordered it to be included in the tree delivery. **Q: how often do you water tray?**
A: I have a plant resting on the tray. I water the plant about once every three days and the tray fills when I water the plant.

**Q: Exactly what is the width of the 8" tray? Answers seem to vary on here.**
A: 6 inches

**Q: How wide is the 8" tray?**
A: About 5 and 3/4”. 8” long

**Q: is this considered safe to use for growing leafy vegetables for consumption?**
A: The depth is less than an inch, I’m not sure how well anything would actually grow in the tray. It’s meant to put water in to keep the environment humid around your plant. I have a couple potted succulents that I sent on top of the tray/rocks and can only pour about 1/2 cup of water in at a time or it will overflow. Hope that helps.
