Flag pole refresh kit
Worked perfect on my Vally Forge 18' flagpole. After 4 1/2yrs of heat abuse in the southeast it was time to replace everything but the pole itself. This kit offered everything along with some upgraded flag hooks.

Easy To Install!
This is a replacement from the previous order, and this just fits better. The one that we had lasted for 3 yrs. so can't tell how long would this last.

Quality Product
We had a telescoping flag pole which is a pain. I ordered this new pulley system along with a solar light and now we no longer have to lower the pole to change the flag. Our flagpole was a little small for the pulley so my husband got some longer self tapping screws to secure it. Problem solved! After that, he added self tapping screws to the rest of the flag pole to keep it from accidentally sliding down (which it has done). We’re very happy with these additions.

Works great
We just got a new flag pole and my husband needed a kit to put up some new flags we ordered. This was perfect. The rope is long and sturdy. And the other pieces were good quality.

The diameter of the pole is very important. 2'' OD is optimal.
I bought this kit plus a solar light to keep the old glory illuminated at night. Its amazing to me how many people keep the flag in the dark at night, even the ones who keep the flag on a pole permanently, which is totally against the flag code, and very disrespectful. I installed mine on a 2" OD galvanized pipe which I did it by joining two 8' pipes. The most challenging part was drilling the holes on the pipe, to screw on the tap screws to secure the cleat hook. I built a solid concrete base where the pipe was 48 inches underground, and I gave the pipe a nice coat of white gloss enamel and the whole things looks amazing.

It's ok.
Overall it is a good product for the money. It works as described. But the main reason I chose this one is that it appeared to have a brushed stainless steel ball. What I received is a really cheap looking plastic ball with no brush marks. So the picture seems misleading to me.
