For Cleaning Threads on Small
Forney make excellent wire wheels. Note this one p/n 42747 is a fine wire (.008") that I chose for cleaning bolt threads without damaging the bolt threads - for this job, it is perfect!! The .008 " wire size is becoming hard to find as it is too delicate for general use. - This is NOT a general purpose wire wheel. You may want a more aggressive, standard wire size (.012") wire for cleaning paint and light rust surfaces. This same wire wheel is available with the standard wire size as p/h 42745. The thicker wire may damage bolt threads if you use it for that purpose on bolts under 1/2"

Fine works well for me.
first fine bench wheel brush. I like it much better than the medium, that I usually get. This wheel does a great job. I'll keep getting the fine from now on.
