If you have an early early 6 volt Honda CT70, this is THE battery you need. Don't waste your time and money with an aftermarket battery when you can have a genuine Yuasa battery for very little more. Yes, you do need to obtain the acid for it locally, but the Amazon description makes this abundantly clear.

The Yuasa battery remains a top choice for me when replacing the battery in a vintage Honda. They seem to out perform and outlast other brands.

I needed a battery for my Trail 70, so as always, my 1st stop is Amazon. I found the right part #, ordered, received in a timely fashion, as is the standard for Amazon. But, when I went to install, there is no acid included in the box. It is common on smaller batteries to have to add the acid and charge before installation. But there is no acid. So with out acid, NOT a battery! It may be possible to source the acid locally, but the hassle factor as well as the gas and my time makes this deal very unattractive. So, In a nutshell, NOT a good value. Source this one locally. Will likely be similar price and have what you need in 1 package. And yes, it does say acid not included in the description, I missed that sentence when I purchased. To avoid confusion in the future, Amazon might consider making that declaration more prominent.

The battery did not come with acid. If the kind people at the western auto hadn’t taken pity on me and filled it, I would have bought a nice pretty paper weight.

I needed to modify the power plug for my 1974 CT70, but I am pretty sure someone has already messed around and it isn't the original plug.

Shipping was fast and battery works well. Connector wasn't the same as original even though the numbers were the same

Bought it, got it serviced upon receiving, was told it was a dead battery. Bought a brand new one, working, for 1/3 of the price. No refund was accessible due to how late it arrived.
