Really works!
We have been using this product for two years now on our dogs, sizes 65 lbs, 27 lbs, and 10 lbs. Though for the little one, we have to cut it into thirds. They all love it, like a treat But most importantly, it works! We have not had a single flea or tick on any of the dogs since we started using it. And our dogs like to spend sunny days outside. Plus, our back yard is fully of trees and shrubs, perfect for ticks. It takes a few weeks to be fully effective. So during that time, we used Earth Animal's topical treatment as an extra layer of protection during the first month. But this year, I started using the chews earlier, to build it up in their bodies, negating the need for the topical solution. This is a great product that keeps my pets and family safe for a great price. Plus, I can feel better about not giving my dogs poison, just to prevent pests.

These really work
I had to stop giving my dog monthly prescription flea and tick preventative oral meds because he started having seizures. I needed to find a non-pharmaceutical flea and tick preventative so this past spring I decided to give these a try based on the mostly positive reviews. I started giving them to our dog daily in early March, well before flea and tick season in our area as the directions recommend. He weighs 47 lbs so I gave him 2 tablets every day March through October. To my surprise, he never had a flea or tick all spring, summer or fall except after I stopped giving them to him in early November, foolishly thinking tick season was over. Within a week or so of discontinuing them I found several ticks on him so I restarted them and haven't found any more ticks on him within a few days of restarting. The key is that you really have to give them to your dog every single day all season long, starting early in the year. Once you make it part of a routine it's not a big deal. At first my dog wasn't that interested in them but if I leave them in his bowl he always ends up eating them. I never noticed any side effects in my dog--no gassiness, odor, or stomach issues. The tablets have a very strong garlic smell but didn't make my dog smell like garlic or anything.Giving my dog two tablets per month it ends up costing about the same as the monthly prescription preventatives did.I'll definitely be continuing to give my dog Pet Honesty flea and tick preventative. I highly recommend them to any dog owner looking for an alternative to the pharmaceutical flea and tick prevention products. Just be sure to try not to miss doses and plan to give them to your dog most of the year, if not year-round if you don't have cold winters where you live.

Read this before buying
My dog was a bit irritated by this and developed some itchy dry patches on her upper body. They went away within 5 days, but it was still a bit scary to live with. The first day, they didnโt really work obviouslyโฆ..By the 6th day we noticed any fleas that got on her were dead or in the process of dying. You need to be patient for this stuff to actually start working, so thatโs just a heads up to anyone who is super impatient. It does take a little over a week to fully immerse in your dogs body. That being said iโm not too sure i would recommend this to anyoneโฆ.I went to the vet today and the dr kind of laughed at how the main ingredient to repel fleas was garlic. So we now have my dog on a prescription. But if you donโt have $60+ to spend a month on your dogs flea medication, then yes I would recommend this.

Pleas avoid especially if you have Japanese Breed. Almost killed 2 of Shiba inu.
I almost lost 2 of Shiba inuโฆI found great review in Amazon, I will copy here ( thank you B.Engenretson)โโโโโโ-Garlic, which is a member of the Allium family, and poisonous to dogs, especially in powdered form, such as in seasonings.Japanese dogs (Akita, Japanese Spitz, Shiba Inu) seem to be more adversely affected by garlic, but the reason is unclear. Some experts believe it is because of the high red blood cell count and lower levels of glutathione (tripeptide protein) and potassium, which is hereditary in these breeds.Garlic poisoning does major damage to the red blood cells, causes gastrointestinal upset.โโโโโโโโ1st can had no affect. They loved flavor , but flea repellent affect was minimum. But since they loved it, I bought second can. Shortly after I used second can, problem happened. ( please know Garlic can accumulate system over the time, so you can have delayed reactions)A female Shiba inu ( on the pic , 25 pound), had massive diarrhea with bloodโฆ.I thought I lost her. She hid in the back yard, refused to eat for 5 daysโฆ.at 5 th day I started to offer goat milkโฆshe refused. I gave her about 1 tabs of warm goat milk with syringe for 2 days. I had no hope at that point. Her body was so cold and she was lookin for place to die. ( on pic, she was hiding did not want to come in the house)At 8 th day she took small kibble from my hand, and now 14 th day, she is still not eating normal amount of food, but finally went to short walk last night! Her brother male Shiba inu ( 30 pound) started similar symptom as 3 days delay. No blood though, but he has not be able to eat normal food yet. 5 days straight diarrhea โฆ..My 3rd dog is mini American Shepard ( 35 pound) . She just had one day of lethargic day and one big diarrhea, but never lost appetite. She was sick for only one day.I stopped this treat as soon as my female Shiba inu got sick. It was miracle she recoveredโฆ

It Half Works
Honestly we've tried giving these chews to our dog for 3 months and she still has those little guys. So do these chews work my answer is both yes and no. Yes to the fact that while she was taking these chews we never found a tick on her but we were also bathing her as well as giving her the chews. No to the fact that she still has those little fleas coming around even after 3 months on those chews. I wouldn't recommend getting these even if they do say for fleas and ticks.

Works well and is worth the try
These really do work! we live in the middle of the woods and have struggled in the past with ticks. I don't like harsh medications for my pup so we gave these a try. No problem and it has been about three weeks and no ticks found since using. My pup also likes the flavor and takes the dosage easily.

Very hopeful for this product..
I have a cockapoo and a labradoodle. So far nothing works. Our property line borders the high-schools ffa building so we have large animals right next door often. It's HARD to keep the fleas under control In South Georgia even without these problems. I have wasted sooo much money trying to find something for my dogs that's not going to harm them as much as it helps. This is my last resort!! I've read the reviews so many times and I'm praying for good results. So far they do seem to be helping some. Hoping the more time that goes by they continue to help more and more. My dogs are desperate for some relief, and if this doesn't work we will have no choice but to go talk to the vet. Alot of people said they'd update again and have yet to do so. I plan on actually updating after a few weeks. We are only a few days in and it already seems to be helping some, so I'm hopeful!
