These LED lights are set in long plastic tubes so that they have an effect like falling snow, or as stated in the description meteors. I like these for over the porch to create an icicle effect but don't know how well they'll hold up to the harsh weather we have here. These would make lovely lighting decorations for an evening outdoor event like a wedding reception or a fancy event, though the sets are small and you'd need several to really make a nice sized display. I like that they're made for expansion and can be linked together easily. I hung these up inside on our stair well banister to have a bit of decorative lighting indoors for the holidays and we enjoyed watching them. These would also look really neat hanging in a window. I like this lighting for indoor use and will definitely use them for special occasions and Christmas decorating.

The media could not be loaded. These lights are really very beautiful. and gives a very nice effects. I did a short video of it so that you can see what I am talking about. I will advice that you order more than one for a tree. In this video, I only had only one of the meteor shower lights. It appears to be very well made and has so far stood up to the very cold Colorado winter with no qualms. It is very beautiful and I very highly recommend it!!!

Got these for outdoor lighting on our roof out front. Very light weight and easy to string several sets together. I was worried about how they would hold up outside, but that was proven unnecessary! They were always on for the whole month of December...through windy days and rain. No problems with them! Going to use them next year, because my neighbor said they loved looking out at them!

Pretty cool product. I bought these because I noticed no house had this color and type of light. I had seen something similar at Chicago O'hare airport hanging from the trees as you enter the terminals during Christmas season. I originally bought 3 strands to hang from my front lawn trees but realized they were hard to hang in the tree with the zip ties provided and when I added the third string it seemed to overload the other 2 strings. I found out that you can only connects 2 strands together. So I used my imagination and decided to hang these from my eves and above my garage doors to look like icicles hanging down. I also used a strand on the inside of my home in my sons window on the second floor window, looked awesome. These lights have a long plug in cord to make it easy to plug in extensions. To be honest I'm gonna buy 4 more sets next year only because they look awesome and are unique.

These have been outside for almost a month now. Michigan winter, rain, snow and wind. I was worried because sometimes quality can be iffy, and it says the plug area is not waterproof. Every single one still works great!I love these, they are beautiful.

The media could not be loaded. The purple is really cool at night. It has been through several storms and win so far and they still work just as good. I would buy three or more for a complete effect if you can. They don’t seem bright in the day but great at night.

I haven’t yet set these up, partially because the outlet is compatible with my other lights but for some reason when plugged in together these lights will not turn on:/ I’m a little bummed about that.

I used 2 sets in a tree at Christmas time last year. Had no issues even with rain. There were some condensation in the tubes , but never affected the lights. They looked really good. Very happy with cost . Especially when compared to the price @ the Christmas store in pigeon forge TN.
