I really like the convenience and it does well in the summer unlike a full wig. I don't get so hot.

I think I got my monies worth. My Afro Puff Ponytail looked good and kinda natural, especially for the price. It matched my hair texture and salt and pepper color almost perfectly. I got so many wonderful compliments everytime I went out. The hair piece worked really well for me until I decided to wash it. It didn't look or smell dirty after wearing a few times. However, I told myself that it needed to be cleaned and refreshed. Oh how wrong I was. Because it was so cheap I carefully and very lightly dipped it 2-3 times in luke warm water with a couple small drops of plain shampoo. I rinsed it in clear luke warm water, again carefully and lightly dipping it in water about 2-3 times. I softly and very gently squeezed the water out of the hair, then loosely wrapped it in a clean dry towel for about 7 minutes. I hung the ponytail over a towel rack to dry. It dried quickly but unfortunately, most of the tightly coiled curls loosened so much that it showed where every stitch of synthetic hair was sewn. The nice looking afro puff was done, dead. It was now too ugly to wear. For the price, I guess 7 months of wear wasn't too bad.

Ok. So I have been wearing this for several months now. I purchase a new one about once a month. It’s true, there are different textures and you really never know what you are going to get. But the “bad” texture for me, are super “perfect” curls as opposed to afro. Therefore, you just need to play with it a bit and fluff it out. I ordered a 1B originally, and that thing was blacker and shinier than a black stallion’s mane! I am pretty basic, so a 2B works for me, but I have played with other colors and I am pleased. I put it in, and rock it for about 5 days. I tie it up at night. But it’s less than $20! I formerly bought $300 bundles and wigs. So this is a steal! Buy it! Oh, and If you don’t want it high on your head, just pull it down in the back with a couple of bobby pins. I didn’t like the ice cream scoop look. But it’s more versatile than what you likely think. I am Amazon picture shy, but I do throw my bangs to the side, pin them up for a high ponytail look without bangs, head wrap, no head wrap. I can’t go anywhere without people stopping me and telling me how cute my hair yes. It’s conducive for my active gym life, and works for me at work. In summary, I LOVE IT! The wig and bundle life isn’t for me anymore, and I didn’t know how I was going to transition. But this works for me! Put it in, play with it, fluff it, and buy another one in 3 or 4 weeks! Oh, and the second week looks better than the first! It stops looking so perfect. Enjoy!!!

This was as described product and I have no complaints. I'm younger but I still love the gray hair look, so it's great for any age.
