The power supply fired up in good working condition, but I noticed a loud noise coming from my computer. I just swapped it out it a silverstone psu which hardly made any noise. When I installed this one it made a huge difference in ambient noise. I thought it was the Gpu fan, but it was at idle, my cpu heatsink fan is quiet too. But I put my ear next to the psu exhaust and clearly could pinpoint it. So first impressions is that it is cheap and works well.
