It is an electric grill and works as expected. Not being a gas grill, the heat is not as quick and hot but still able to grill for about 4 people. Does take a bit more time, but happy with the end result. Overall quality is really good and assemble nicely with parts fitting together. As to grill not reaching high temperature on the gauge which is true, but the gauge is at the top part of the cover which should be expected. The grill surface is still plenty hot to cook food.

It works amazing! Loses heat fast but I don't really care as I'm not looking to be a grill expert on an electric bbq. I've tried burgers, mushrooms, and pork tenderloin. All came out beautifully and 10x better than in the oven or cast iron pan. worth the money and will be buying the cover soon.

Purchased this last spring. So easy to clean. Light weight and easy to move around. I still have my Charcoal Grill but use mainly for picnics. This is perfect for Hotdogs, Burgers, Super great for Steaks and Chicken! Last evening I threw drumsticks that I had marinated. Cooked them low and slow until the last 10 minutes with the last Thyme and Garlic Butter paste for that great char! Moist and tender and full of flavor! Londonbroil and seafood shishka bobs this weekend for a friend's overseas wedding celebration! Buy It! You won't regret it. p.s. If you want that smoke flavor, use a mesquite or whatever wood chips you like that are for grilling, soak for 30 minutes and place in a metal pan and place on the element and you'll get that great smoked flavor that's genuine!
