Would have provided 5 stars if I didn't have to buy two valves; I only needed one. It provides a secure fit with my 1/2" ID vinyl tubing. This is a quarter-turn valve soat a glance I can tell exactly how close to full open or full closed it is setting. The barbs are kind of long so you need space for a straight section of tubing, but that helps it provide a reliable connection. I love it!

Perfect for controlling water flo from pump in fountain - adjust for best water height

It is fairly easy to turn and doesn’t leak which is a common problem with others I have bought. I use it in combination with a sump pump to water my plants with captured rainwater using 1/2” black flexible tubing connected with 1/2” silicone hose I already had. I use a 40” long piece of 1/2” flexible nylon tubing as a water wand that easily reaches through crowded plant vines and stems. And the flexible wand can be easily bent to reach plants that are close to you like up high on a bench without having to back up to allow the length of a typical water wand. The plastic petcock helps make my daily watering so much easier than dragging around the heavy garden hose and big clunky water wand with a head to big to fit through tight areas.

One of the valves leaked around the stem. The other one I did not trust. I would not use them indoors or an area that needs to be kept dry. Good price but poor construction. I removed them from my RV. They would be good for irrigation.

Works great on low to no pressure. I have had it up to 35 PSI, with no problem.
