I bought this Bible for my great granddaughter, she can read it & understand it very well. I bought myself one, I liked the explanation at the front of each book who wrote it, when, & why, then it tells you by chapters what is in the book. By having the same Bible, I am able to read the Bible with my granddaughter over the phone, as she lives in another state.

I love this translation for the youngest reader who is ready to move past storybook Bibles. It still has beautiful illustrations throughout, but it is actual scripture, not stories. My youngest wanted to have her own Bible and this one is perfect. I also love the soft cover. This is also a great translation for people who are not native English speakers because of the simplicity of the translation.

I purchased this for my Angel tree little girl. I always try to add a Bible to what ever else they may ask for. This is one of my favorite Bibles because it has a hardcover and easy to read and care for. I recommend this Bible for whatever your need for one may be. I loved this one.

Great quality, I love that my child can read this for themselves. It does not feel cheap or overly juvenile. I also love that the pictures are engaging -- child loves to look through and find stories they know or ask me to read the stories that go with certain pictures; it's very helpful that the relevant verses are there on the images to reference the story. I also appreciate that the illustrations are more culturally and racially accurate than some other options. We recently read the story of Solomon and the Queen of Sheba in both this Bible and another Bible story book. The book had her looking very European (white, straight, light-colored hair) while this Bible shows her as dark-skinned with clearly African hair. From what I understand, it's far more accurate, and great for my kids to see the representation of skin like theirs in Bible illustrations. I love that this translation is also simple enough for my elementary child to begin reading on their own.

I got this bible to help me teach my kids the word of God in an understanding manner to kids but it ended up using it for myself because of the breakdown of grammar and various features it came with this is a perfect bible for Sunday school teachers and kids even for parents who are interested in teaching the word of God to their kids 🥰🥰

Definitely not kids friendly.

The quality of the cover, pages and illustrations is great. The language used is clear and easy to understand without being dumbed down. This is the perfect Bible for a pre or early teen reader or for someone who is co fused by old biblical translations.
