Quality for the price
For the price, this is a pretty good rc car for whipping around the house! Definetly check out build guides online if you want to modify this!

great little rc car
got this stock in 2021 was really fun then the plastic parts started to break bought some of the metal parts and then tried to to a rwd set up with a 7,500kv brushless motor which works great itself the car didnt. got a gyro, dumbo rc transmitter with reciever all the stuff to get the rwd working it didnt so got more metal parts which fit really bad with out mods mostly just spacers of sorts. then stripped the diffs so got a front one way and a solid rear metal ones which then didnt work due to the diff housings being slightly to short which I found out after a year of me not doing anything with it so ive spent the last few days just messing with it and got it working with all metal parts which are still meh but can work. would like to get a body on it but thats a in a few weeks/months thing. imo just keep it stock for a while or get another to mess with theyre cheap and fun also dont get a 7,500kv for this its way to fast like a 5,500kv max and the motor size is 1410 with a cheap $15-25 esc

Solid drift build platform
Love this car for 2WD drift conversions. I have three of these

Not that bad!
For the price it’s not that bad out of the box. Seems to have better steering angle than my Mini-Z MA-030 EVO2, which is a $250 RC drifter. The bottom plate, pinion gear and chassis brace are surprisingly metal. The body is terribly cheap but I plan on putting a cooler body on it anyway. There also seems to be a large aftermarket for parts for it so that’s cool. I’m sure this $20 drifter can easily turn in to a money pit. The wheelbase is about 98mm. Don’t remember if that was in the product description. So Mini-Z bodies should fit just need to figure out mounting. I’ll probably end up dumping some $ into it via parts and a new body but it should make a great back up RC to have for a friend to drift at the house.

Super easy to control indoors
This mini drifter comes with plastic drift tires vs the rubber on a k989. This makes it slide more and easier to not make contact with the walls . I use these indoors with my kids on a luxury vinyl plank floor (fake hardwood) and it doesn’t mark the floor or scratch the baseboards. easy to charge the battery with the body still on in the car. Very fast for the price! Highs Very durable Great runtime( almost 20 minutes) Fast charging from a USB brick Comes with every except AA batteries Easy to find replacement or upgrade parts A 1/3 the cost of a Kyosho Mini Z Better performance than a Mini Z

10/10 totally recommend
The K969 is a great RC car to get. It’s been around for a long time so there are plenty of modifications available for purchase on numerous sites including this one. Mine is heavy upgraded but all electronics fit inside chassis still. I do recommend buying a new transmitter off rip, a piece in the stock remote easily breaks if not careful. All other parts were either modified by me or left stock. I converted it to RWD with no problems as well so this works good for comp drifting too. Lastly, you’re not limited to the chassis that it comes with!! Many 1/24 scale car models (easiest with plastic models) can be fitted onto this RC car. I’ve had fun with this thing for weeks, it has not disappointed 10/10

Great value and durable
Perfect for indoor fun on laminate floors. I did get tired of the hard plastic drift tires and replaced them with rubber tires. I added a drop of oil to each shock and bearings because there was some binding. I also added thermal paste to the heatsink, out of the box it doesn’t make contact with the motor. I have ran 20 battery packs through it and nothing has broke so far, really happy with this purchase.
