The leaves are great and add alot of tannins to the water. In case you didn't already know, these are not for human consumption haha. My wife and I boil these down then add them to our tanks , they last a good while before they eventually break down/fall apart. It's adds good cover for smaller bottom feeders as well as a more lake type view in the tank. These were also alot bigger than I expected, definitely recommend!

Best Indian almond leaves we’ve ever gotten! We’ve purchased Petco brand and Aquarium Co-op brand previously. These were significantly cheaper and significantly better quality. They are huge and about double the size we are used to. They even come in a resealable bag to keep them fresh. We put two leaves into our betta quarantine tank without boiling them, and the water was a beautiful yellow the next morning. They are releasing tannins so much better than others we’ve had. Perfect remedy for a sick betta.

Good quality, worth the price and they are clean dried leaves. Varied sizes of leaves, they produce great tannins!

I've tried different brands of these leaves and these are by far the best. They do release tannins (which is very good for aquariums) , but not a huge amount. I added four to my 55 gallon tank and they are holding up very well and look great. Nice size! My Cory's like to hide under them and my Oto's like to munch on the biofilm that has formed on them. Win Win!

Love this, but know that it is pretty big. I put one leaf inside a 20 gallon aquarium. Its about 9"x5" it floated at first, but soon sank. I didnt notice any difference in the water quality at all. It didnt make it darker or clearer, just didnt seem to make a difference. Its a high quality though. Came well packaged. And i got several of these big, intact leaves.

These Almond leaves from Matchimaa were the perfect solution for my new Betta tank. As soon as I noticed that my newest fish baby was struggling I hopped on Amazon. Delivery was next day. After only 24 hours “Waffles” movements were significantly healthier looking and he seemed generally happier. The package came vacuum sealed so the leaves were fresh. The amount of leaves included and the variety of sizes was quite generous, allowing me to find just the right leaf for my 5 gallon tank. The water from the tannins was visually apparent not long into day one but the leaf did sink by day two. Overall, and based on my initial experience , I would highly recommend this product for any size tank. Fantastic quality, and quantity for the price. One final comment, the package states the leaves are good for up to one year given they are properly stored.

Excellent quality. Photo in review is a newer leaf in tank that’s now waterlogged, other photo is an “after” when the shrimp have picked the leaf clean. Even unopened, the bag smells like fresh leaves. One bag easily covers my 10- and 30-gallon tanks. It includes a mix of small and very large leaves—I break big ones in half or combine two small ones as needed. Leaves waterlog and sink after a couple days. I place three (left/back/right) so shrimp always find a snack alongside the glass biofilm and any extra food. I use them as steady shrimp forage and general health support—perfect for vacations or low-attention weeks. When I once overfed and vorticella flared in my 30-gallon, adding a couple leaves every other day (tea-staining the water with tannins) helped knock it back in ~2–4 weeks.

You can just tell from opening the bag, getting a whiff, and looking closely at the leaves that these are of the highest quality. It will take me many months, maybe a year, to go through the bag for my purposes, but I'll be happy to buy more when I'm out.

Great quality, super nice leaves. The leaves were clean and ready to use. They were also huge, which was nice. Released a good amount of tannins (turned water brown) which is what I got them for. My betta loves them, I’d buy them again.

AMAZING!! Will definitely be buying again. Float for a long time. Snails love them, shrimp love them and they are great for bubble nests!

Great deal on these leaves! Assortment of sizes, mostly very large but can be cut down. They absolutely release tannins, which is what I was looking for. Happy with the results.

Great product. Delivered fast. Large size leafs which is a positive as they don’t break down in your aquarium quickly. I personally like to always have at least 1 Indian almond leaf in my aquarium as there are many benefits. They naturally lower the ph in the water and have anti fungal and anti microbial properties working to keep your fish healthy.
