The main way to stop a draught coming through your window is to install new rubber gasket seal. Overtime your old rubber seal will flatten, become hard or brittle and shrink. This will severely reduce its ability to create a quality seal around the opening of your window or door. Great Quality Seal – Perfect Fit!
I bought this uPVC window & door gasket seal (B001 Black) after first ordering the sample pack to ensure I got the correct size. I’m really glad I did because this seal turned out to be a perfect fit for my front door repair!The rubber is high quality, flexible, and creates a strong, airtight seal, effectively stopping draughts. It was easy to cut and install, and I immediately noticed an improvement in insulation. Easy to install
Purchased these window seals after discovering that a couple of the windows in my home required these smaller type seals. They are very easy to install once you have removed the old seals and I find that they fit a lot easier if you install them with a little soapy water.My windows now have a much tighter seal and should therefore keep out some of the draughts in preparation for the next cold spell.They were delivered in a simple clear plastic bag with no fancy packaging which makes a nice change.
