It’s beautiful. Perfect glass for a complex wine.It got it all.But keep in my mind. This is very fragile. VERY.I receive 4, one came broken. The packing is poorly made.Other than that. Its a great value and enhanced to your wine experience

So these are large and opulent with a small opening so a great nose glass.The stem is super fine and the glass is very light. Over filled and while hand washing the crystal is so thin it seems to wabble. It's just thin, good crystal quality and the etched mark of the manufacturer. Very dainty construction which could only be done with high quality crystal.As an FYI, a lawsuit with another wine glass maker of this style, most famous, means these are super similar, if not indistinguishable to me. You can search it up fast if you are curious. These are 1/3 the cost of the other guys.

These Spiegelau Definition Burgundy glasses are absolutely gorgeous — crystal clear, lightweight, and perfect for enhancing aroma and presentation. have the zalto burgundy and spiegelau definition burgundy, and wanted the spiegelau as a daily driver. comparing them side by side, the zalto is lighter and the clarity is apparent. think the spiegelau is a great facsimile and very happy with purchase.

Never got to use it. I literally touched it with a sponge and it broke. I’ve cleaned thousands of wine glasses, and cleaned ten Riedels the same night this one broke. It’s not me, it’s the glass.

The volume of the glass is great, but somewhat leads to a balance issue. The stem is so thin it actually can flex. The description says that it is dishwasher friendly. But there is no possible way. You can easily break these glasses hand washing. But surprisingly, what should be the strongest part of the glass, the base, was broken in shipping. The packaging is in no way designed for shipping. I would be amazed if any of these would arrive undamaged. They are lightly wrapped in paper. But the box is super thin and the items are loose in the box. We are currently in the replacement process and will see how that goes. A replacement order was automatically placed on the return label generation. All original items must be returned in 30 days or you will be charged for the replacement. Would not recommend as a gift as you most likely will receive damaged items. We had a special event planned that required us to go a different direction. Time of replacement estimates 6 days from now.

Bought as gift for my daughter. She loves the style and how great her wine tastes in the glass.

It was swift delivery. The item was highly fragile and it arrived in perfect condition since the packaging was sturdy enough to withstand the rough transportation. It is a perfect gift to wine connoisseur.

Outstanding but very very fragile so be careful, stems are very thin, but I love it anyway

Excellent stemware - I have hundreds of Riedel glasses and these ones from Spiegelau always get the most comments from my wine nerd friends and tasting group buddies. They are surprisingly light weight but despite their delicate actually standup to the cycles of usage, washing etc. Great with pinot obviously but have also used with Barolo etc. Just bought a few more sets. Highly recommended.

One glas was broken
