Customer support is really helpful. Got a free replacement with very fast delivery. The lights are good and easy to set up. They are cuttable 8mm - haven’t tried connecting them. They come in 2 sets of 10m if you buy 20m which isn’t that ideal and a single strip would’ve been more preferred. It is worth the money and the app is nice too. Device mic doesn’t really work on there but it fits nicely and the colours are evenly spaced out. Would recommend for anyone needing cheap RGB lights.

These are by far the best strip lights I’ve Ever had. The adhesive is really good and they actually stick to the wall and stay. You get so much I’ve managed to do the entire bedroom. They are really good quality and are nice and bright and there are so many ways u can have them on as u can use the remote provided or an app. And u can choose different settings and styles l. I’m well impressed. Great value for money. I will be buying more for the front room.

the lights are good and give a nice effect to the kitchen with more than enough choice of style of lighting and colours. however I have an issue in that the controller seems to freeze every so often and just reverts to one colour, I've switched the units off using the remote then found they wont turn back on again the only way to get them working again was to unplug the power cable from the rear of the controller and plug it back in then everything is back to working again. I've have contacted Mex lights who are sending replacements (not yet received). My advise to anyone fitting these items is to ensure the controller is easily accessible should it need to be replaced in the future. The kit had two rolls of lights in it which is more than enough for a kitchen area and you may find that you will also need an extension wire not to mention the correct connectors should you wish to join lights together using the same controller. The lights I used also operate from my mobile phone using a download app which seems to make the lights brighter than I can get from the remotes.

Really disappointed with these sometime after installing these, all of the colours are wrong and let’s say you pick white every metre you get 4 or 5 different colours which has now ruined the effect so much so I’m thinking of removing these which will then cause issues as the whole room will require redecorating.. Very disappointed with these after a relatively short period of time. ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Really really happy with these; so easy to install albeit a little tricky around the slopped ceiling but got there in the end. Came with all the bits required to do the install including splice kits whcih were never used as managed to get round it, only one slight issue in that the cut was mm off the run when running the other way, this is apparent in the video but it's not that bad and could've run over the top until the next cutting point but didn't. The app that the manufacturer says to use with this is really bad and does not work although using the manually buttons on Govee and the remote control it's fine; even though the app says it must be MP3 tunes and not Spotify or Apple Music i've got loads of music which was bought from iTunes yet that didn't work either which it said it would! All in all really happy with this purchase and the room looks immense when lit up..

I bought this exact Mexllex product four years ago and was extremely satisfied. The LEDs were bright, easy to install, and could be controlled via remote, app, or physical buttons. It was a fantastic product. Fast forward to today: after moving into a new house, it was a no-brainer to order the same ones again. I even went back to my old orders to make sure I got the exact same product and purchased 80 meters of what I thought was a trusted option. BIG MISTAKE. First, from the product page I noticed right away that the LED controller has been changed. Previously it was a slick black panel that could be attached to my furniture. It didn't look to bad and had physical buttons so I could turn the lights on/off and change modes by clicking them in case I couldn't find the remote. Now it has been swapped out for an ugly white plastic box without any buttons. And because this box has to be in the line of sight for the remote it will be in a visible place at all times. Annoying, but I figured I could live with it, so I ordered it anyway since the rest seemed to be the same. Then the lights arrived. AND WOW - WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE! The LED strip is completely different from what I ordered before, and it’s a MASSIVE DOWNGRADE. The LEDs are half the size and spaced ridiculously far apart, making the light dim and uneven. I’ve attached a photo to compare the old and new versions, and it speaks for itself: this isn’t just bad; it’s unusable. Forget lighting up a room—this won’t even light up a shelf. On top of that, the cut-off points are spaced 50(!!!) cm apart. If your furniture or setup doesn’t perfectly align with that, tough luck. Good luck making it fit neatly. To make matters worse, the box now comes stripped down, with no connectors or extension cables—items that were included with the original version. So if you want to cut and reconnect the strip to suit your space, you’ll need to find the right accessories and shell out extra cash for them. And the final insult? The first product photo STILL shows the old, high-quality strip, even though they’re shipping this downgraded version. This is blatant false advertising. Refunding it immediately. DO NOT buy this product.

Love these lights, placed them in my son’s room to give him more of a gaming, groovy feel. They are really good and go along with his music if he wanted, he tends to have them on a static colour but they do have lots of options and strobing through all the colours. We did have to get them changed as some of the lights went wrong, the company were really great, easy to contact and sent me out a new set straight away. We attached them just under the coving on his ceiling and very adhesive and stick really well. Great price. The length we got went round twice in his room on top and bottom part of his ceiling coving and then down to the plug.

These were really easy to apply. We wiped the wall first to get rid of any dust and simply peel and stick! We had a little trouble getting one strand to work... my fault, turns out the plug goes in both ways but is directional. Once we turned it over and plugged in it was fine 🙂 the brightness goes from almost nothing to very bright and is really easy to control with the app. The colours are super and will cycle, flash, go to voice or music, and you can even make your own settings. We've had lots of comments from people saying how great it looks and moat important the small absolutely loves his big boy room 💙 The only negative is the remote... it needs line of sight which is tricky as the receiver is only a short distance from the plug, we use the app but it would be nice if he could do it himself with the remote. Also, I do hope they last... I see other comments that the company are really good at replacing but I don't think the paint will survive because the adhesive is so good. These are definitely not a temporary thing unless stuck up in a different way. Still a really great set of lights and we would definitely consider more!

This would have been 5 star as it’s so easy to put up but unfortunately the controller doesn’t work (yes I took the plastic strip out) and played around with the battery but now I can only use them on one colour and have to use the plug to turn them on and off….such a shame as I have had these before and they worked brilliantly
