Easy to use and leaves hair softer. It does just the right amount of toning. If you have really long hair it may take the entire bottle. I have a mid length bob and have used it twice and I probably still have enough for 2-3 more treatments, possibly more. I feel the odor of the product isn’t overwhelming and doesn’t smell chemical. Definitely recommend!

I have medium light copper red with highlights. The root area turning a little light in the orange dept. I used the pureology blue toner and it brought back the browns in the copper beautiful. However the blonde went a little weird slightly grey tone. So what a pain in the butt, I did the pureology purple toner on lower blonde left on for 10min and was back to normal caramel blonde like I had before. This toner does work & make sure to wear gloves it does stain hands. During the fall I go deep red copper and I use the Pureology Copper toner to keep it looking fresh not faded in between hair appts. Hope this helps.

Skeptical, but if you timed the process it will definitely work. Little pricey but using toner and blue/purple shampoo help tone down orange brassy color.

It a good product i prior got purple version. DO NOT use blue on highlighted blonde hair as another reviewer suggested. It leaves greenish bluish dirty shade and i left it <5min. Purple works well for blond highlighted hair if you like ashy blond undertone.

It does deposit blue. However washes out quickly

I never write reviews but this is such an amazing product. I've been dying my hair for a year now and I will always end up with a terrible orange tone that I couldn't get rid of even with blue shampoo. This is the only thing that worked. Smells SO good and leaves your hair smooth and shiny

Toned down the brassy hair and made my hair glossy

I bought this as a last ditch effort after my hair stylist made my hair way too orange and brassy after a dye job. Unfortunately, this product made my hair look more brassy and orange. I left it on for ten minutes and followed the directions. It did the exact opposite of what it said it would do. It could be because of whatever my stylist used on my hair to dye it but this definitely did not work.

Works great. I’m a level 4-5 brunette. I box dyed my hair with ash brunette to cover greys but it looked really orange on me. This is the first blue product I’ve tried that actually worked. My hair looks a lot more neutral after using it. There’s still some red, but not that ugly orange.

Bought this to try and combat the warmth in my dark brunette hair after doing a nanoplasty. Made my hair feel amazing but didnt 100% get rid of the brassiness in my hair.

This is a repeat purchase and a must have for anyone looking to tone down warm red and orange tones in hair. I have dyed hair and everytime after a few washes the warmth comes back but this is brilliant at toning it and making it look and feel like ive been the hairdressers. It really helps and leaves hair feeling super soft and healthy and you get quite a few applications out of the bottle. Gloves are needed. Love it and is on my repeat purchase list. Its on offer on here sometimes so even better. I leave it on longer than it states too for my stubborn hair. Best toner ive used and ive gone through them all!

Good product for in between salon visits

I was supposed to take a ‘before’ picture - then I forgot, I was so so upset about my pale orange hair. And I do mean it was orange! I dried my hair slightly after washing and then applied. I left it on for 30/40 minutes. It didn’t dry it out and I have very very fine baby hair. In fact it seemed to have conditioned it. The result was brilliant. Not a great colour obviously - I need to get my hair lightened by someone who knows what they are doing! But my hair didn’t and doesn’t look orange, more of a medium ash blonde. If I pluck up the courage to get my hair colour out right, I will have to wash my hair until all of this toner is out and I will then leave photos. Please do note, this is for ORANGE shading, NOT BRASSY. It’s Blue for orange tones. It’s Purple for brassy tones. I will add this isn’t 100% blue. I would call the colour a blue/dark purple. It does the job though.
