The headphones fit perfectly, even with the factory sleeve, and the overall build quality is excellent. I’ve always had good experiences with Spigen products, and in hindsight, I wish I had gone with this case from the start. I initially tried a cheaper off-brand option, but it was too small and actually smashed the ear cups. This case, on the other hand, offers a proper fit and solid protection. It’s definitely worth the price, and I’ve already recommended it to others. Review: Goated Carrying Case - Thank you Apple for the crap “carrying case” if you can even call what they give you that. Anyway, this is a great case! It is kind of big but it’s perfect since the Airpods Max can’t fold. I’ve used this to travel and it kept my Airpods Max safe. And the little pocket on the inside is a GREAT addition to the gap in the case. The case is pretty sturdy and feels good. For headphones that cost $550, you’d think Apple would give us a good case like Sony and be able to fold but at least Spigen makes this awesome case for the ultimate consumer final boss. If I wasn’t such an Apple glazer and very deep in the Apple ecosystem, I’d go with Sony. Again, great case! ## Features - HARD SHELL PROTECTION – EVA hard shell interior with premium textured fabric exterior shields AirPods Max from drops, scuffs, and dust during daily commutes and travel. - COMPATIBLE WITH APPLE SMART CASE – Slide your original Apple Smart Case inside to keep Sleep Mode fully functional while it is stored; No Built in Sleep Mode. - BUILT-IN CABLE POUCH – Magnetic-close internal pocket keeps your USB-C or Lightning cable organized and tangle-free. - CONVENIENT PORTABILITY – Durable top handle for easy carrying. - CHECK COMPATIBILITY – Specifically designed for AirPods Max 1/2 Smart Case (2020/2026). ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B098SSW16Q | | Additional Features | Travel | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #10,925 in Electronics ( See Top 100 in Electronics ) #458 in Headphone Cases | | Brand | Spigen | | Built-In Media | Protective case | | Color | Charcoal Gray | | Compatible Device Size Maximum | 7.6 inches | | Compatible Devices | Airpods Max | | Compatible Headphone Models | Apple AirPods Max | | Compatible Phone Models | AirPods Max 1/2 (2020/2026) | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 2,518 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Fabric | | Form Factor | Case | | Global Trade Identification Number | 08809756647642 | | Item Dimensions | 11 x 3 x 9 inches | | Item Highlight | Protective Carrying Case, Premium Fabric with Inner Pockets [Compatible with Smart Case for Sleep Mode] - Charcoal Gray | | Item Weight | 31 g | | Manufacturer | Spigen | | Material | Fabric | | Mfr Part Number | AFA02995 | | Model Number | AFA02995 | | Pattern | Pattern | | Shell Type | Hard | | Theme | Modern | | Warranty Description | 2 year manufacturer | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Spigen - **Color:** Charcoal Gray - **Compatible Devices:** Airpods Max - **Form Factor:** Case - **Shell Type:** Hard ## Images ![Spigen Klasden Designed for Airpods Max 1/2 Case (2020/2026) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71zgxOkxszL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does this case support sleep mode?** A: The case alone does not support sleep mode. The air pod max has to be in its original case from Apple while inside the Spigen case to activate sleep mode. **Q: Recently bought a competitor's case and it stunk of chemicals. How are these?** A: I’ve had them for three months so far. Still smells fresh and new. **Q: Do the AirPods fit in the case even when the headband is fully extended?** A: Yes. I tested with my APM and they fit fine with the headband fully extended. **Q: Does this case stink of chemicals?** A: Not that I was aware! I is a great case for my Apple AirPod Max and worth the cost. When it was delivered and I opened it, I was not aware of the smell of chemicals. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is the case to get for the AirPods Max 2 *by C***J on April 14, 2026* I’m really impressed with this Spigen carrying case for the Apple AirPods Max 2. If you can afford an upgrade above the original supplied case- This one has held up excellently, showing no signs of wear at all in more than a year of useage. Well designed and top shelf materials are worth the money, and will less likely come with lower priced cases. For the money invested in Apple high-tech sonic bliss, this is a great protection choice. I can’t find a single thing of concern to report about this item ## Frequently Bought Together - Spigen Klasden Designed for Airpods Max Carrying Travel Pouch [Compatible with Smart Case for Sleep Mode] - Charcoal Gray - Spigen Urban Fit Designed for Airpods Max Case Premium Fabric Ear Cup Covers - Black - Apple AirPods Max Wireless Over-Ear Headphones, Pro-Level Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode, Personalized Spatial Audio, USB-C Charging, Bluetooth Headphones for iPhone - Midnight --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/345231232-spigen-klasden-designed-for-airpods-max-1-2-case-2020](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/345231232-spigen-klasden-designed-for-airpods-max-1-2-case-2020) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
