Douglas Laboratories Relora-Plex - Support for Management of Occasional Stress* - 60 Vegetarian Capsules

I read about Relora on the Dr. Oz website and decided to give it a try. I was particularly interested in the study that found it has the same calming effect of valium, without some of the side effects. I researched various brands and like the manufacturing standards of this particular brand (which I wasn't familiar with). I have to say, this stuff is incredible. I started taking it during a very stressful/busy time at work and emotional time at home due to the unexpected loss of a beloved pet. I was having a hard time focusing and feeling quite depressed and low energy. The first day I took the Relora I noticed a difference. Things smoothed out... I could focus... I didn't feel so depressed and distraught. It really did have the effect of valium or xanex, but without making me feel drowsy or befuddled. I'm taking three per day and I can tell when I need to take the next one -- I start feeling anxious and am more easily agitated. When I do take it, it works very quickly. I'm very impressed with this product! The product is often advertised as something that helps with weight control, since it reduces cortisol surges. I haven't lost weight while taking it (which is why I got it in the first place), but I'm still a fan. I'm definitely much, much less stressed out and am sleeping a lot better -- not waking up in middle of the night with the hamster wheel running at full speed in my head. Strongly recommend it to combat stress.

This product was recommented to me by a Nutritionist a few years ago when I was having trouble sleeping. I didn't know some people consider it for weight loss until I read the Amazon reviews ( although when you're sleeping - you're not eating! haha) . I prefer to try herbal treatments. This certainly works for me. I took it daily for about 6 weeks and it 'reset' my sleeping pattern to where I get 7-8 hours sleep almost every day. I start to sneak back down to 6 hours after several months, and that's when I take the Relora Plex again for 2-3 days. I only need 1 capsule. This helps reset my sleep patterns for several more months. I feel that with herbal supplements the degree of effectiveness varies among people. They work for me - but is it more in the mind? I prefer and believe in herbal supplements. I recommended these to a friend, and they didn't work for her, she prefers a prescription sleeping pill from the Dr. because she 'knows they work". Just mentioning this as something I have noticed over the years as a real difference of belief among people. As stated, I prefer to try a herbal remedy and these pills, about $30 for 60 pills isn't overly expensive.

Seriphos stopped working so my doctor told me to try Relora Plex. RP helps with anxiety in a natural way but it has done little to help me sleep. Pity Seriphos stopped working completely after 3-months of use.

This product is excellent. I was in a crisis with my prostate and by taking these supplements I got relief. Relora plex brought down the high cortisol which was affecting my prostate and the symtoms were gone in a few days. I took 2 tablets 2 times a day for 5 days and then 2 tablets each day after. It also gave me good sleep. Excellent product. I would highly recommend it to any man dealing with prostate issue because of high cortisol.

I am definitely buying again! I have been sleeping much better since the first night I took this product. I started with 1 in the morning and 1 at night, but now switched to 2 at night. Plus, this brand is super reliable! When I heard the benefits of relora I immediately looked for this supplement by this brand. Great quality products, serious company.

My wife has difficulty sleeping and will only take non prescription products due to side effects. Unfortunatley, this product brought on a severe headache within 90 minutes after every dose of this supplement. I did not realize the product contained folic acid. My wife has the MTHFR gene mutations and can only absorb methylated folate. This may have caused the H/A. We are going to try another brand to try that does not have folic acid in it.

I can’t believe how great Relora is for anxiety and sleep! I really am amazed with how well this works for me. I regularly take 2 caps before bed with Melatonin and GABA. This cocktail helps me sleep really well. There are a couple nights in the month when I can count on waking up at 3:00am however - if this happens and I can’t go back to sleep, I take another capsule of Relora Plex. I also typically take 1 capsule when I get up before breakfast.

This is of great help to get an incredible night's rest! I take one at bedtime and generally sleep through the night with ease. Highly recommend it!
