5 Album

I can't think of anything negative to say! I've always hated live versions/recordings of bands, but for some reason...I've never minded his!! It's not all live, but a bunch is. Maybe it's because he doesn't half-@$$ ANYTHING!! He always sounds good, he doesn't change things & make them sound like crap; he's completely reliable!I can put this on to play and cook, bake, clean, do dishes, mop & vacuum, & be completely happy the whole time! That's saying something. 😃❤💯

its retro gary numan, whats not to like...i assassin, warriors and dance are kick ass musical standards, pino palladino and paul gardiner are awesome bass players.

In a time when there is no longer in-person browsing at the record store, & you're completely sick of youtube commercials, & just want to put on some tunes & jam, or work at home, and focus w/o being blasted commercials.. Buying a CD is great.Thanks for making that possible, still.

Fantastic set - it's really four albums because the Living Ornaments concert should be considered one two CD set. Great albums classic 80s new wave from Numan.

item took awhile to get to me, but that's what I signed up for buying from a far away seller.the cd itself was as advertised, in new condition

I just recently discovered Mr. Numan and his album Pleasure Principle. Because I loved that album so much, I ordered this collection. I do enjoy it. Very interesting melodies, words. Some of the songs are fun, others are cathartic.

Received my package within a few days on the expected delivery date. Everything was good with my package. No problems at all.

Great collection for those fans who want to have it all.Sound is great and the brilliance of this artist does not cease to amaze me.

This box set contains 4 albums across 5 discs - the real highlight is the live album Living Ornaments '81 which is a double taking in Numans "retirement" gigs from Wembley Arena in April 1981. This is really Numan at his peak and at the conclusion of his "Machine era". These shows were big and sate of the art at the time and featured a massive production. It of course includes all his well known tracks from his first 4 studio albums, "The Tubeway Army", "Replicas", "The Pleasure Principle" and my personal favourite "Telekon". In addition it includes a couple of tracks from the at the time unreleased "Dance".The three studio albums included are "Dance", "I, Assassin" and "Warriors". These 3 albums saw a shift in Numan's musical style as well as popularity. It seemed with each new release his popularity decreased and his reviews got worse, even though for some reason the press always were critical of Gary. Way over the top and personal in fact - it was great in the mid 90's when artists came out and said what a big influence Gary was on them. The three studio albums come with their bonus tracks from the remastered releases and in particular watch out for a young Pino Palladino giving a wonderful masterclass in fretless bass playing.The albums are in there own slipcases, however there is no album inlay included with them. There is a single inlay included with a full list of album credits. This is really an inexpensive way to add missing titles from your Gary Numan collection. it would be nice if "Berserker", "Strange Charm" etc could also get this treatment.

This 5 CD set is good value for money. If you are new to Gary's songs, this may not be for you. Having said that, if you want to dip your toe in ,then CDs fit the bill. There are loads of bonus tracks as well 2 live CDs of Ornaments live in '81. In this set you really do get diversity with a capital D. Gary has also used a variety of musicians from his trademark synth to viola and saxophone. One of the CDs titled Warriors is worth having alone. If you see some of the silly money being charged for that CD, you will understand why.

Brings back memories when I was eleven and my brother was eight and we'd with my parents drive to a friend of the family they owned a shop and one of their sons would entertain us with records of Gary Numan has a double album of a live concert in his heyday, Dance, I Assasin & Warriors some of it is still relevant and some of Gary Numan at his best

Really pleased with boxed set. 5 great discs to bring back memories of a by gone era. Really great value and can’t fault the service as it’s spot on
