Bought this for my daughter for a buckle fracture after the one she was given at hospital didn’t fit well and wasn't providing any pain relief. It’s a great product, I also bought some elasticated support bandage which I put on underneath this and it worked a treat. Very secure and supportive, the velcro is strong and the protection it offers is far superior to what was provided by hospital. Daughter hardly ever needed pain relief once this was fitted properly with the support bandage underneath. Highly recommended. Also much easier to get her to wear a pink one!

I have had 2 of these now. Both have lasted for 2 weeks of wearing. The issue seams to be that the metal support rubs against the stitching and cuts it. I am not sure if the metal supports on the 2 that I have purchased have had a sharper edge, or if it just a design flaw and it needs re-enforcing in this area. Both have failed in exactly the same place.UPDATE: having tried 2 other cheaper brands with good reviews, these were better fitting and more comfortable, as a result I will increase from 3 to 4 stars.

These splints are comfortable to wear and very supportive. Only thing is received odd splints. Not matching.

My daughter got a buckle fracture just before the summer holidays from school. She didn't need a plaster cast but did need to keep a splint on it for a few weeks. The NHS splint was not very comfortable, and being the summer, got sweaty and grimy very quickly. I bought a few of these, which offer the same support as the NHS splint so that we could swap (and wash) them, and she could wear one swimming while on holiday. These were comfortable to wear and gave the support needed. My daughter also loved having a few different colours to choose from.

I've had to wear a wrist brace since I was a teenager after I tore the cartilage in my wrist. This causes very severe pain and has led to 7 operations and counting. I have always hated previous braces both the hospital made ones and ones I have bought myself over the past 24 years - so I've tried a lot of braces! This brace though has changed things, for a start the material is soft and comfortable, so comfortable I can sleep with it on which is a first for me. I find the fabric on other ones uncomfortable so I'd go to bed with it on but within half an hour I'd have taken it off. The fabric is much lighter than on other similar looking braces. It does still get a bit sweaty on very hot days but not to the degree I've experienced before, some left me with a sweat rash. When I washed it and laid it out to dry (removing the metal strip first) it dried far quicker than I expected. Although the fabric is lighter and more comfortable it does still offer the same support. I also like the fun colours of the velcro, I always hated the beige braces so opted for black but these look nicer and are well made. I loved it so much I ordered 2 more in case I lose one or can't get them in the future! So now I have 2 in bright pink and one in bright yellow. I think the price is very good for the quality and I have already recommended these braces to other people.

I think the brace is basically good but the measurements are wrong! I measured my wrist as per instructions and it was 17cm, the top end of medium size so that’s what I ordered but after wearing it has stretched so the Velcro overlaps and catches on clothing. I sent a message to the seller but had no response!!I’ll keep it as hopefully I won’t need it much longer as my fracture heals!

Rave reviews from my 9 year old to support her buckle fracture. She chose the blue one which matches her school uniform, but most importantly her oodie! She says it's much more comfortable than the hospital issued one and it will be easy to keep her in this. Might be hard for her to part with it.
