I suppose my rating should be in between 'I don't like it' and 'It's okay'
I received the projector yesterday. Being rated as 3000 lumens I was disappointed at its actual brightness. I bought this as a holdover while my regular home theater projector is being repaired. Obviously, for the price I couldn't expect it to match the clarity and contrast of my Optoma HD28DSE. But, it really doesn't come anywhere near.First, the lens is really crappy. It might be because of the angle of the of the projector right now. But, there are blurry spots all over the screen. It's impossible to have the entire screen in focus. Maybe one spot is in focus, but the rest is very blurry. It makes the projector feel like a toy.I know that I'm trying to replace a home theater projector with this one and it's an unfair comparison. But, with the focus issue I don't see how it could be used in a PowerPoint presentation. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong when focusing the lens? Dunno.I believe the contrast ratio is as stated, 2000:1. But, the brightness is definitely lacking. That said, it's watchable in a dimly lit room. The room doesn't need to be completely dark. But, the contrast will benefit from a darker room, for sure. There is no 'screen door' effect. The pixels seem to be sufficiently tiny that you can't see them. Though, that might be a result of the blurriness.I will keep the projector to tide me over until my Optoma projector is fixed. Until then, I'll have to put up with all its shortcomings.

I was super nervous buying this projector
I was super nervous buying this projector, due to its price and lack of branding, but I was pleasantly surprised. The picture is good quality, and it is surprisingly loud. Haven't felt the need to attach speakers to it. The brightness is decent, but the contrast ratio (which I failed to look at) is pretty mediocre. I have this set up in a very sub-optimal setting: in a brightly-painted room with two walls of windows that get lots of daylight. I knew in advance that it was going to be a problem, but it's not where we usually watch TV, and we were on a tight budget. I just needed it to throw some cartoons on from time to time for the kids. Because of the setting, it's pretty crappy quality during the day, but pretty good in the mornings and evenings. If it was set up in a proper setting (low ambient light), I would be plenty satisfied with its quality. I've had it now for 4 months with no issues so far.

Great value for the money.
Although it's not the greatest projector out there by any means, this is a HUGE value for the money. I bought this to use in a dorm instead of a TV, and I love it. It doesn't give you a lot of control over the image (besides the manual keystoning) but it gives a really nice picture - surprisingly good in light, but it really excels in the dark. The resolution is great - it's native 16:9 - NOT native 16:10 despite the advertised resolution. That's actually much better for me as I'm using it with an Apple TV. It's an amazing projector for the price - if not a bit unconventional - but it gets the job done. Also, it has surprisingly loud speakers. Like really loud. The quality isn't very good but they're loud! I just bought an RCA to 3.5 mm cable and hooked up my computer speakers.

Basic Big Screen, No Frills
So far so good with this unit. I have a true HD LG 1080p projector (that pooped out and that's why I got this one) that has a shaper picture, but it also cost more that twice the price of this one. This is kind of a basic unit that doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles but gets the job done. I ran the sound out to a sound bar so I don't have to use the sound from the unit, which is basic at best. I would say this unit would be great for a basic man cave or garage big screen setup or maybe a treat for a lucky kid's play room, but for a snooty high end video/audiophile.

... projector "3000 Lumens" I thought this would be the perfect projector I'd need
When I read the specks on this projector "3000 Lumens" I thought this would be the perfect projector I'd need. All the inputs I needed with HDMI and a USB input for flash drives and external hard drives.Great!! it worked. But the quality of the picture was a disappointment. It does NOT perform like a 3000 Lumens projector. I've compared it side by side with another 2700 Lumens projector and that (Hitachi EX250N) blew that 3000 Lumens Joyhero away. So I guess for that price... it is what it is. So I returned it.

Great projector for the price
I like the quality and image of this projector for the price, literally can't find something this cheap for what it does.I have it setup in the patio to watch movies, but it is a cover patio and we added blind to protect from the sun.The image is great, the keystone is manually configured through a knob on the back. There are some features on the menu that don't work (like the zoom feature), but overall happy with it.It is big and bulky but not that heavy. We mounted on the ceiling so the fact that it has a FLIP feature helps a lot.

BEWARE!!!
This projector is a huge disappointment. I loved it at first, but after just a month or two of use the picture is really blown out. I am sure it needs a new bulb. It is made by excel and so I wrote an email to the company directly asking about replacement bulbs an no one ever extended the courtesy of a reply. BEWARE!!! Do not purchase this product! I bought it January of 2017 and it began failing at the end of February 2017!!!
