Yes she do come in the box not sure if I posted the box.

Anyone have problem with this doll's hair falling out? I just bought it and it looks like it's already falling out in clumps inside the box.

I purchased for my 5 year old for her birthday in June it came with no issue like this. Her hair is all intact. I would get ahold of American Girl or do an exchange, I hope this has helped, as Kendall is one of my girls favorites.
