Not powerful but perfect for what I want
This little computer is not for work or gaming. It is for general use: watching YT, emails, maybe an old retro game once in a while, etc. Perfect for casual usage which is exactly what I wanted it for. No bells and whistles. I had a small glitch while setting it up and they got back to me right away and took care of my minor issue.

This is a great little computer
I have been very surprised at this computer. I caught it on sale and purchased it for my 6 year old granddaughter. After getting it I wished I had bought more, this is a nice little machine. The key board is sealed to prevent liquid from getting in and that keeps dust out. It has not been dropped yet but it just feels sturdy. Great value for the price.

Not great.
Cheap, small screen. Mine arrived with one dead pixel. Did not return it because I didn’t want to mess with it. Computer works fine. I would not buy again.

Does the Job
I ordered two of these for my business for light-duty and backup purposes. The first one I tried out of the box had a defective screen. The second one booted right up and worked like any standard Windows PC. I was able to set it up quickly with Google Chrome and MS Office. Seems like it will do fine for internet, email, and editing MS Office documents, which is really all I need. I reported the defective unit here on Amazon and had a working replacement on my doorstep less than 24 hours later. I'm happy with the customer service and the fact that they stand behind their guarantee. At this price point, I'm guessing they have a fair number of defective units, but if you get one I'd urge you to give them a chance to make it right. It's a good little computer when you get one that works. I'd like to find out how to expand the internal hard drive, since they claim it can go up to 4TB. I travel internationally and would like to have access to all my files when I'm on airplanes with no WiFi.

Junk
The one spill it took by accident made several keys sticky and no longer functioning well, so much for spill resistance. First, a few good things about this PC: The PC itself is a fairly nifty little box, from the outside. The best features are the neutral colors, and sturdy construction. The drop-resistant feature already proved true when I knocked it to a hard floor from a 2.5 foot platform; it fell with a clattering sound, but showed no damage at all. The movable camera is sturdy as well and this feature is an enhancement I appreciate. Also very desirable is the spill-resistant keyboard, if it works (I'm unwilling to risk testing this). These features make great sense for children and those of us who have the kind of use profiles of often damaging expensive equipment. This PC will help those who have had to replace too many, more easily damaged units. The screen is not high-end, but is adequate for many needs. It has a very limited viewing angle, so repositioning your head / body necessitates changing the laptop angle. It's easy to adjust to this limitation, but do not expect pretty, clear screens like most smartphones. This screen is very readable within the angle limitations. There are 2 kinds of LCD screens, TN and IPS. This is a TN screen, change your viewing angle and the whole screen looks black and grey shadows and text is unreadable. This has one advantage of security if in a crowded place, but that's trivial. If it keeps the price down, I don't mind, but, this would not be good for anyone with some types of mobility limitations. The software is the least-nice feature. Windows has become a jumbled, top-heavy mess (eats RAM for non-user-priority tasks). The result of the OS task distribution makes this 6G of RAM a slower than a similar PC, also running latest Win, but with only 2G RAM. I have been using Windows since XP Pro, and each new version seems worse. There are links that lead nowhere and are otherwise non-functional. The endless updates are a drain on staff time to constantly revise functional systems for unjustified reasons, the resultnt theft of time from the cumulative employers on Earth using this could(?) be the greatest white-collar crime ever perpitrated?(!). Other, frustrating glitches, out-of-the box include: The curser responds erratically, once disappearing, requiring a full reset, and it won't reliably highlight single words, sentences, or a whole block consistently with the standard, hover and 1/2/ 3 right clicks (weird and inexplicable lapse of normal functions). Video and audio are out-of-sync on major streams like Amazon Prime and YouTube. Logical / prompt directed fixes don't resolve this major audio problem, it looks like I must write to GeekPlus tech support for help. A small thing, but also bad, the two silicone impact dots on the keyboard surface are affixed with an inadequate adhesive; one has already come off. It looks like the thing functions fine without these, but why bother installing them if they fail so fast? These poorly applied spacers leave this user with a feeling of having something cheap and broken, after only two weeks! Also incoherent is the Aptio Setup Utility (UEFI from American Megatrends). It contains ridiculous language and there is little reliable instruction online to address difficulties navigating functions. My intent in buying this was to boot from a live Linux OS on usb, and, after a couple of weeks, no boot so far. If you like Windows, if you can cope with the software, then fine, buy this. It's like playing a bad video game for me, boring, a frustrating use of time. I know much of the world uses Windows and American Megatrends, but I have used better tools. I will try to update if / when I reach tech support about resolving the Aptio SUU settings and boot from the peripheral. This might be best for younger children (1 to 13 years), but, I wouldn't want my kids to have to cope with the clunky OS, so, I'd set it up tight (customize) before giving it to them. This adult might be able to use it for some time, if it were otherwise functional. If the case can't be opened for service/replacemenyt of parts (Board, memory, et al), then it should by law be sold with a long-term cokkection program of incentive-based return policy for refurbishment/recycling, no questions, easy to access free shipping materials and free pickup/delivery. I'm still giving it a "hate" 1 star rank, for now, because of the described problems. I resent having to contact tech support by email to try to resolve the software issues; why doesn't this company have interactive, online support, 24/7? (I'll update this review, if possible, about support response to my complaints). More problems! The OS offered an update to Windows 11. The MS offer clearly said that the Win10 could be reinstalled from the PC within 7 days, if the user didn't like it. I found Win 11 worse than Win 10, within hours. A reset found the original Win 10 would no longer reinstall from the "protected" original recovery drive. Now, I can't reset to original software, though that reset was working fine (I did it several times before the Win11 download). If these really are versions of Windows, MS is putting out irrational software and making false claims about it's functions. It might be the box, it might be the bits, but either or both, a well-fuctioning PC, it isn't, yet. Neither Win 10 nor Win 11 will run YouTube or Amazon Prime TV without audio delay. No easy fix is found online. I'm beginning to wonder if MS is trying to steer users away from using their largest competitors? Is this company shipping a bot-net, co-opting ~96% of the RAM for dispersed, remote processing? Having these huge streaming services work out-of-the-box should be basic minimum functions. Why should a customer like me have to speculate about all the weird flaws? Sure would have been great if it just, ah, worked properly? I wanted a reliable, durable, basic PC, not a job testing unreliable products. I know good machines and great software exist, so, why sell this kind of unfinished product?

Problem right out of the box
I have several items using the wifi, but I wasn't able to get this one connected. They offer a help website. I tried all of those things, but no luck. If I have to jump through hoops to accomplish something as simple as wifi connection, I am not interested. Returning.
