I had acne all through my teen and early 20’s and I hated it. I purchased Proactive for by daughter hoping to save her from the 10 years of acne that I went through. I had tried Proactive when I was 18 and it didn’t seem to work but now they market it saying that acne may get worse before it gets better and I figured I just didn’t use it long enough to see results. My daughter hated the Proactive. It over dried her skin and caused further breakouts. She used it for 3 weeks before asking me not to spend any more money on it. I purchased a $6 tube of oxy and she started seeing results in 2 days, less inflammation, reduced redness. With regular use along with facial cleansing wipes (not oxy, just the kind you can get from the Dollar Tree) her skin is almost completely clear. I would have loved to have her skin at that age. I have this as a regular buy on my subscribe and save (cheaper than what you can get it for at Walmart).
