Review: Fit my 2wd 2020 Frontier Midnight - THIS REVIEW IS BASED MY 2020 FRONTIER CC 2WD WITH THE RC 2.5" N3 LIFT STRUTS.....not 4wd I've seen other reviews saying this 2.5" lift strut doesnt fit 2wd trucks. But I can say that it 100% does. Due to the 2wd being slightly lighter than a 4wd, the strut lifts the front end a little over 3". I paired these struts with 2.5" lift blocks and longer shocks on the rear and the truck sits perfectly level. At first, these struts ride very firm, but after a few hundred miles, it becomes MUCH smoother. I also recommend swapping to aftermarket upper control arms as this lift creates quite a bit of coil bucket contact. In comparision to OEM, these ride a bit rougher. Would I buy these lift struts again? Probabably not due to the bumpy ride quality. But then again...these are not made for my lighter 2wd Frontier. Im sure they ride much smoother on 4wd trucks. Once these go out, i'll probably check out Nisstec as I've heard good things about their shocks.....they're just double the price of these LOL. For the price you pay, these shocks are excellent! Had to change out my lower control arms so I thought I'm already in there might as well upgrade the rest because original components were all starting to fail. I needed to upgrade the upper control arm to after market which worked well. I put these on a 2016 Nissan frontier Pro4x. It lifted the front of the truck nicely about 3 inches. I will I would have purchased the full kit to up grade the rear as well. I ended up using 2 inch shackles in rear truck is almost level. It sits a little high in the front. The ride quality is better than OEM I am running slightly larger tires than stock. I've had Bilstein 5100s installed for the last 10 years but decided to switch it up to RCs instead. My old Bilsteins were for a 2wd frontier (which I have 2wd), however the RCs are for a 4wd. There's a clear difference in height between the two. I can confirm that while I have a 2wd frontier, these struts fit. I already have aftermarket upper control arms so I had no issue with coil bucket contact. The RCs gave me an extra 2 inches in height over my 5100s which claimed to give 2.5", but only yielded about 1". Total I'm thinking I got about 3" lift over stock. I'll take the RC ride over the Bilsteins because it is softer. I go off-road maybe twice a year so road softness is more important to me.
