Mccall's Patterns Ladies Dress Pattern, White, E5 (14-16-18-20-22)

Ordered this lovely pattern only cut it out yesterday but I have pattern pieces 18 19 and 20 missing so cannot make the dress after buying the fabric. Very disappointed as was going to make it for a special occasion just found out I don't have the right instructions either I have one piece with 7763 instructions the pattern should be 6957 so angry now will have to buy another pattern

Not true to UK sizing. Comes up very small!

I purchased this dress pattern on August 28, 2021. It contains 2 sheets of instructions printed front and back. Pages 1 and 2 are printed on the first sheet and pages 3 and 4 are printed on the second sheet. Pages 1, 3 and 4 are accurate instructions for this pattern, McCall’s M6959, but Page 2 is printed with instructions for McCall’s pattern M7763. I sew enough that I know how to assemble the dress’s bodice without instructions, but I would be in a jam if I were a less-experienced seamstress. Not only are the correct instructions missing, but the cutting layout for View D would have been on that page too.This is not the vendor’s fault. The instructions were misprinted by McCall’s. However another customer posted a review on July 8, 2021 noting the same misprint. At that point, the seller should have checked their remaining stock for misprints in order to avoid sending out any more patterns with faulty instructions. This is the vendor’s fault - they sold a product that they knew was defective, and that is why I am posting a 1-star review instead of the 4-star review I would have posted otherwise.I do not plan to return the pattern because I have already purchased the supplies necessary to make the dress. However, I will not buy anything else from this supplier unless I receive a satisfactory response from them.
