Needed a new air pump for my two aquariums. Wanted a pump that delivers a high volume of air, and saw the pump has six air outlets. So, it was a no brainer to get all the volume of air I could use. The noise level is not whisper quiet. However, it's still quiet relatively, for a piston pump. But, unless you're looking for a White Noise producer, this pump would be better off outside the bedroom, as the humming could be bothersome. My set up is in my indoor Arboretum, so the humming is not a problem. The pump, for the noise level, produces the air, lots of it. I run four airstones off of the pump, and my tanks are well ariated. Probably would have no problem using the remaining two valves. I put my pump I a hanging basket to keep it well above the levels of the tanks. That reduced the noise level slightly. The pump does produce a slight amount of warmth. I can handle the pump with bare hands, no gloves needed. This is a very good, high volume air pump. Other than the noise level, which can be tolerated, if you make provisions for the noise, this pump is exactly what my fish needed. A good value for a powerful, high volume air pump. I gave the pump Five Stars on everything, except for the noise, which I gave a Three Star rating. If you can tolerate, or plan for the noise level this is a great air pump.

I am happy with this air pump. it is easy to set up. The airflow is great and it overcomes depth differential issues I had with other pumps thanks to the adjustable manifold valves. It works as intended. I didn't measure power draw but a lot of the power that it uses is lost as heat. After running for a few minutes, the pump becomes warm or hot to the touch so it is probably not suited for use in a small enclosed space like a box or cupboard. Following some suggestions from other shoppers, I extended the air intake with a length of tubing and put the pump on foam. These two thing make the pump significantly quieter to the point that the sponge filters it runs are louder than the pump. Unmodified, a dishwasher is a good noise comparison in terms of volume.

I'm very happy with this pump so far, have had it running for about a week and it's worked well. It is a little louder than a standard aquarium air pump but the volume of air this thing pushes is crazy.

Very powerful air flow for how small it is.

I have 4 cylinder aquariums scattered in corners of my living room. To consolidate on air pumps for air stones and filters, I bought 3, with intentions of buying a 4th one soon. I was immediately disappointed because there is/was unexpectedly little to no air pressure. I set them up with 4 valves for small air stones, and the 5th of 6 is/was for a bottom filter in one of them. THESE ARE THE NOISIEST, loudest and annoying pumps I have ever had. I’ve had aquariums of all sizes and shapes and I can honestly say that these are the loudest pumps ever!

Amazing very small air pump with attachments for multiple lines. I can brew worms castings tea in 3 different baskets for 3 days sometime and it does not over heat. It is louder than most and it vibrates like hell. I put it in styrofoam box with open lid for air intake. BACKFLOW PREVENTORS ARE MUST FOR EACH LINE OR IT WILL DIE RIGHT AWAY . You can rotate air intake valve to 3 positions. PLEASE BUY AIR STONES AND A LINE. Yes everything needs to be purchased separately but you would need a longer tubing anyway and air stones and backflow cost $5 so it's cheap. I wish I bought a bigger unit too.

Bad product gets burning hot within few minutes and stops working, once cooled, it doesn’t start automatically you gotta unplug and replug once, than it works again for few minutes and cycle continues

Perfect match for my laser engraver. Sure it is a bit loud for a small thing but much better than my air compressor.
