if you’re looking for a budget, friendly Matcha, that actually taste good this is it. I was nearly jaw dropped when I first tasted it. It has slight to know bitterness has a sweet taste to it and overall just really surprised me. I would 100% recommend if you’re looking for Matcha that is budget friendly and good. usually you would think to pay 50+ or more dollars to get a good Matcha but no, I’m here to tell you that’s all a lie because when I tell you, this was a vibrant green, smooth, earthy, no grassy taste matcha I was quite literally shocked! I had to make one for all my family members because that’s how good it was 🤭 must purchase!!! 🍵

This is such a delicious matcha powder. The color is a beautiful, vibrant green and the texture is a perfectly fine powder. It has an earthy, umami flavor that is absolutely incredible. It mixes well in both hot and cold liquids and does not clump up. It is a good price for the size of the bag, as it lasts quite a long time. It doesn’t explicitly state the caffeine content, but I notice after my morning latte that I am perfectly energized and have a steady flow throughout the day, with no afternoon crash like I tend to experience with coffee or espresso. I’ve made matcha for friends and family and they have all been decently impressed; I’ve even inspired a few people to purchase Naoki brand matcha for themselves! I like my matcha lattes sweetened so I mix this with milk and add the tiniest bit of agave syrup, and it is the perfect morning pick me up. Definitely try it for yourself!

AMAZING it smells so good and a super indescribable green color it actually tastes like matcha as well I 💯 recommend and it’s pretty cheap for how much you get I would buy again and will many many more times lol :3

So far so good with my entry to Matcha. Naoki ceremonial blend seems to be really good for new comers like myself. Enough flavor to know what your drinking and not overpowering when your taste buds haven’t fully developed yet. Texture is fine, quality is fresh and green, getting good servings from the 40g size. Drinking Usucha and sometimes in latte with 4 ingredient oatmilk.

Good color but has a more earthly and vegetal flavor which I did not like. It is a good quality and fresh matcha with no bitterness. Not the best but if you need a drinkable matcha in a hurry then this is perfect for that. You can't beat one day shipping when you realize you wont have enough matcha for tomorrow.

I’ve tried a handful of different matcha brands, and Naoki’s Superior Blend has been one of the better ones for everyday use. The powder is very fine, has a bright green color, and mixes smoothly with a whisk without leaving much grit at the bottom. Flavor-wise, it’s fresh and slightly earthy with a mild natural sweetness, but it doesn’t have the harsh bitterness that cheaper matcha can sometimes have. I’ve used it both traditionally with hot water and in iced matcha lattes, and it works especially well for lattes because the flavor still comes through after adding milk. The packaging also does a good job keeping the matcha fresh between uses. It isn’t the cheapest option, but based on the taste, texture, and overall quality, I think the price is reasonable. I’d definitely purchase it again.

I'll be honest - I don't have much experience with ceremonial grade matcha, or really any matcha for that matter. I can't discern the difference between a high quality ceremonial matcha, and a decent ceremonial grade matcha. However, I made a matcha latte for a friend and she said this was the brightest matcha she had seen (after sifting it) and that apparently brightness correlates to quality. I made a matcha latte with the set in the picture. This particular matcha sifts very nicely and is very fine. I like how I feel more of a "slow" energy throughout the day rather than feeling wired and crash immediately after. The tin is a nice touch - it is a very high quality tin and it looks nice. The seal, while it may not be "airtight", seems to seal tight enough where I can pick it up by the lid and it doesn't slide off. It is definitely a learning curve to make latte art with it. I don't know if that has to do with matcha prep, but I included a picture of my best one so far lol. All in all, I will probably stick to this brand and buy them. I am happy with the taste and how easy it is to drink - not overly powerful, just subtle enough to taste the matcha but not too bitter either.

Coming from a complete matcha newbie, I genuinely loved the taste of this. It was smooth, tasted really good, and was a great way to try matcha without committing to a huge bag. That said, I later bought the matcha from Costco, and for the price, it is really hard to beat. Is the Costco one quite as good as this? In my opinion, no. I do think this one tastes better. But as someone who is just getting into matcha, the difference was not big enough for me personally to justify paying so much more for such a small bag. I still give this 5/5 stars because the product itself is excellent. I think it makes the most sense if you want to try a smaller amount before committing to a larger bag, or if price is not a major concern and you want the better-tasting option. One other thing I appreciated as a beginner is that buying matcha can be surprisingly overwhelming. There are SO many brands, grades, and options, especially online. I’m also someone who normally prefers buying tea in a store instead of ordering it online, so this felt like an easy, low-commitment way to start. Bottom line: really good matcha, especially for a beginner. I just personally found the Costco option to be the better value once I knew I actually liked drinking matcha
