Replace ALL your other leggings!
I get cold easily and am trying to gradually replace as many of the synthetics in my wardrobe as I can with clothes made of natural materials. So when I saw these leggings while doing my Black Friday shopping, I gave in to temptation and bought four pair - two heavyweight and one each in medium and lightweight. Yes, they're in different colors (black, grey, and blue). What I LOVE: They're cozy soft, like a high-quality fine-knit (superfine) merino wool sweater. They aren't itchy at all, and they breathe like they're not even there. The heavyweight ones are sufficient for the freezing temperatures at my sister's place in the mountains without being too warm for the slightly-warmer temperatures at my parents' place. They all look great, sleek and streamlined without the plastic sheen of synthetics. If you do medieval reenactment, like I do, they'll work perfectly for it too, as long as you can cover or ignore the company logos at the hip and left ankle. The free pair of socks that come with them are a basic grey but feel almost pillow-soft. What could be improved: I got XXL, because my measurements are borderline between there and XL for the company's size guide (L/10-12 in normal store sizes). The leggings are a little looser than they need to be, though the nice thing about wool knits is that you can't tell they're big unless they're way too big. I'll probably get XL for my next order, but only because I like the waist to feel a bit more snug than these are. (I can add a drawstring to fix that.) There's a seam about 3" above the ankle that I wish were slightly less visible, though it's not enough to make me look for a different style. An option with pockets would have been nice, even though it would mean losing the seamless line along the outer leg. But these minor issues don't even add up to any significant dissatisfaction. I'm going to be living in them all winter long and will at least be able to wear the lightweight ones in the summer. As well as wool breathes, even the heavyweight ones will probably be more comfortable than synthetic ones in the summer.

Warm, soft, cozy.
Wore these bottoms hiking in 11° snowy windy conditions. Bought the 250 and wore it as my base layer. It is 100% Merino wool and it was warm and soft. The ankle cuffs are smooth and did not create bulk under my socks. The waist band is a good width and sat comfortably at my natural waist. Included in the order is a free pair of Merino wool socks. As an avid hiker in all weather, I will be buying more as the price is fantastic for the quality.

Great value for great product
I got the heavyweight version to use as a base layer in the winter. I have worn them hunting, hiking, and even at work, and they have kept my legs warm. You can't even tell that I'm wearing an extra layer under jeans. The seams don't bulge out, and it's not bulky. The texture is soft and feels good on the skin, not itchy like some other wool products. They have held up well so far. We will see in a couple of years how they hold up. It is worth spending a bit more for this high-quality fabric instead of the cheaper polyester base layers.

Soft, warm, and comfie.
Size M. These fit nicely, are comfortable and warm. I would have given them 5 stars except for the logo embroidery on the bottom of one leg in the back.

Gorgeous color and fit
Love these so much. Got the hoodie base layer as well to match. Both came with a free pair of merino hiking socks! Awesome! Thank you! Comfy, warm, stay close to the skin and don't stretch out, bag or pill. Lovely craftsmanship. Highly recommend.

Save your money and buy the good stuff
Good alternative for the double the price ones but not as I expected. I am 5'7", over 50 yo, and 156. I bought a XL as the reviews suggested to go one size larger. I should have stayed with a large. They are baggy and will not be able to lay smooth as a bas layer, esp the length. That is fine as I want to wear them as leggings. The are comfortable, like PJ, but not flattering as they are to large. The stretchiness is comfortable and I really wonder if they are 100 percent wool, as they are so stretchy. Before I even put them on, they were already full of cat hair, which my other wool pants do not seem to attract. I am not sending them back as they are comfortable for around the house, but I wish I had chosen the heavy weight and a smaller size. It will be interesting to see if they hold their shape by this evening.

I Will Buy Again
These merino wool pants are soft, warm, and comfortable. The bottom of the leg has a cuff that can be folded up or let down for length. I purchased the 320 g/m^2, a perfect winter base weight. I do wish they came in a higher rise. The waist is a little tight because it fits right at or right below the belly button. For many women, this is fine, but I find a high rise more comfortable. They also came with a free pair of mid-calf, wool socks - I would guess they are size 9-11 - they are thick and warm. I would definitely buy this product again. They can be washed in cold water and hung to dry.

Go with company's size chart
Most people advise to "size up." I am almost always a "small" on the bottom, but the company's size chart indicated that I should order a medium. So, when I saw the "size up" advise from other buyers, I sized up to a large. Wow! Too big and not fitted as long underwear should be. Go with the size chart! I will layer under it as I wear them to Aurora watch in Alaska under my snow pants. Their quality is excellent and they are a nice medium-heavy weight merino wool that is soft, washed well in cold and lie flat to dry. Very nice quality!
