Great product! Bought for my husband for Ren Faire and they were perfect for his outfit. He said they were comfortable and fit just right. We went during the middle of July and he didn’t get too overheated either.

**4 Stars – Good Quality, But Calves Run Tight** I purchased these costume pants for an event, and overall, I’m quite happy with the quality and fit. The material feels durable and well-made, perfect for a costume piece that still looks sharp. The waist and length fit true to size, and they were comfortable for the most part. However, the calves were way too tight for me, which made them a bit uncomfortable to wear for extended periods. I don’t have particularly large calves, so this was a bit surprising. That said, I’ll definitely be buying these again but will go with the next larger size to allow for more room in the legs. If you’re planning to wear them for a long event or have more muscular calves, I’d recommend sizing up. Otherwise, they’re a solid choice!

Overall these are great quality - only complaint is that there are no pockets though I won’t take a star off. I normally wear between a 38 - 40” waist in pants so I bought the XL expecting them to be a bit snug and a hair too short (I’m 6’4”). Surprisingly they were loose prior to tying the draw strings and they fell all the way to the ground with some fabric to spare. I can’t say that I would recommend a smaller size than expected as I do not know how much smaller a Large would be overall. Bottom line they are great ESPECIALLY for tells price and greatly increased my Pirate costume for Halloween!!

For the cost, it's honestly amazing. I used it as a pirate for Halloween. Once they're tied right, they're very snug. Even though they're a little thin, the keep you pretty warm. The pockets are AMAZING, they actually have room for you to put things inside it, like phones and wallets. It's amazing for costume pants.

Sizing is awkward because the calves are way too tight, but the rest is the pants fit fine, which means I have to choose between a pair that's extremely baggy on top, or that rips the grommets off at the bottom. They look great if you choose the latter and cover up the cuffs with boots (which you should be doing anyway) but the torn-off grommets will cut your legs up at worst, and be very irritating at best.

Got these for a cosplay, very glad they have larger sizes. Real cotton, which has little stretch, so check your sizing. Wasn't too hot for summertime, and a holding up well. The laces at the bottom are a bit long, but it looks fine if you wrap them around your leg before tying.

These pants look, and feel the part, BUT the opening near the calf is tooooo small. I ripped both legs at the bottom opening due to the fact that the opening is too small just before the laced section. My calves are larger than average but my heel barely fit though when putting them on the first time. I would recommend the manufacturer size the opening at the ankle lager to accommodate for American sizes. Would buy again for sure.

If it weren't for my calves these would have fit perfectly. I bought the medium thinking with everyone saying the waist stretches I would be fine. I'm 5'3" with a 32" waist and 40" hips. What I did not account for were my beefy calves. I could the pants up but could not lace the calves. The tighter part was also cutting off my circulation. If it weren't for that they'd have been absolutely perfect. I returned them and ordered the next size up. Stay tuned. This may get updated to a 5 star if they fit. Edit: Updating to 5 stars because the large definitely is much more comfortable and can lace the calves now.
