Great Non-Toxic Nail Polish!
I began using SOPHi Nail Polish about six years ago. After using odorous, toxic, and chemical-filled polishes, I began searching for a non-toxic option that came without the toxins and harsh smell. Through much research, I was able to find SOPHi Nail Polish and have been using it every month since. This company delivers a water-based, cruelty-free, vegan, non-toxic, and virtually odorless nail polish formula. SOPHi provides the customer with the confidence and satisfaction of having a beautiful manicure without harsh chemicals found in other nail polishes. The user can enjoy the process of painting nails due to the lack of noxious odor, and feel the joy of wearing the polishes, knowing that they are not harmful to one's body or environment. This brand of nail polish comes in a wide variety of colors, from light pastels to rich dark colors, and finishes such as glitter and crème. There is a perfect polish for everybody, whether you are looking for a classy, professional shade or a bright, neon glitter formula. The assorted colors and finishes of SOPHi Nail Polish are all low odor while looking just as good as regular, toxic nail polishes. It is amazingly easy to find your favorite nail polish’s non-toxic counterpart within SOPHi’s wide selection of shades and formulas. However, SOPHi Nail Polish is not as durable as regular nail polish without other products to supplement the performance. While the brand does sell a nail polish priming and sealing system, on its own, the colored polish does not last as long as standard, toxic nail polish does. SOPHi Nail Polish chips and cracks after 3-5 days of wear while toxic nail polish deteriorates after 7-10 days of wear. All things considered, I would highly recommend SOPHi Nail Polish. There is nothing like the confidence of freshly painted nails, and SOPHi Nail Polish provides that without any harmful chemicals. This nail polish is the best decision for your body and the planet when considering your manicure.

The glass around opening continues to chip.
So excited to get this product...although it has a huge crack by where you open the polish. I don't know if it came that way as I bought it a month or so ago and didn't try it out until last weekend. I have put transparent tape around it but it's frustrating when I go to use it and a little glass comes of each time. For the price I would expect more. I like how it doesn't smell and he color is quite pleasing. I would highly recommend opening it right when you receive it and treat it like a fine piece of china!

Recommended for pregnant women, great scores on Environmental Working Group website
I bought my first SOPHi because I am pregnant and don't want the horrible stuff most nail polish has. It is one of the best-rated polishes on the Environmental Working Group (EWG) Skin Deep Cosmetics Database. Using the polish alone will lead to chipping, as people have noted on here. The 'good' side of this is you can add more layers on top of the chipped polish and the new paint seamlessly covers the old nail polish because the product is water-based--so there's no clumps. The bad news is that most people don't want to be repeatedly painting their nails. In my case, I prefer knowing that I am not putting any reproductive disruptors on my nails so I just repaint. I am currently using the nail polish with the recommended primer and top-coat duo to ensure longevity and durability. I also bought the brand's remover because it is true that it can take time to remove the old polish. I've never used acetone to remove it, though. Before buying the brand's remover, I used Ella+Mila's soy nail polish remover and it works fine. You have to let the remover soak in for a few minutes (just like with Ella+Mila nail polish) and then it comes off. All in all, I do recommend this brand because it's a risk-free polish that requires just a little more work without the worrisome ingredients that the majority of polish has. Lastly, when applied to toenails the polish alone (w/o the primer and top-coat) does great and doesn't chip as frequently.

Incredible scent less & allergy friendly, Pretty color, lil more prone to clumping & chipping.
A new favorite for me and my friends! I highly recommend! — Found out via fellow friends with Mast Cell ‘MCAS’ / Asthma and couldn’t believe how allergy friendly it actually was! The first nail polish I can safely use in years. Plus I love the idea of no chemicals, especially for kiddos and safety. Smells like nothing (maybe the tiny tiniest something if you really tried, but we have spilled it, and even had it open while drying nails with blowing hair dryers, and it was great). The color is very pretty, as shown (a little brighter than I expected, but a welcome surprise). It is more prone to clumping, but does fine. Is very easy to chip, does not last long (needs the coatings as stated, though I unfortunately was allergic to said top coat set as it did smell to me and thus cannot use), that said you can find ways around it, thinner doubled layers are great! It comes off easy, but overall stays decently too. Great brand, great product, great shade!

Healthy, guilt-free, no fumes, beautiful color!
There are pros and cons to this natural nail polish, just like anything else. I use the whole system, so I think I get better results than some reviewers (I have yet to try the hairdryer, which they do recommend to use, so I might get better results if I did this). I would say that if you don’t mind changing your color frequently, then don’t worry about the longevity and get this polish! If you’re looking for a really long lasting polish, this probably isn’t it. That being said, you have to realize that it’s not “regular” nail polish, but you’re getting a non-toxic polish with no fumes, nothing bad for you at all, and it *does* spoil you. I don’t miss fumes at all. When I use my regular polish it’s almost nauseating now! I also find several coats of this actually adds strength to my nails.Use the nail stripper to remove it!!! Nothing else will do. I usually apply a blob of the nail stripper to a nail and pretty much start scraping immediately. Again, it’s not a regular nail polish, so it’s not going to come off like it. It’s a completely different thing, so expect differences. That being said I have about 7 different colors. I love healthy, guilt-free manis!
