First let me give the stake measurement which is 17 inches. Most of them are not cut straight so they do not fit tightly in the connectors. Hence, mine looks like an erector set gone wrong!! I ordered the 6pc set not thinking I would need every part but I did use all 54 clip on arms to try and make it square up a little. I am going to set these against our stucco wall and secure them because they are top heavy. I used 4 stakes high to get to 68 inch height. This will serve my purpose of having a place to plant cucumbers that would take over my garden. Keeping my fingers crossed it makes it thru the season.

I tried these for some tomatoes but quickly had to move my tomatoes out as they were not thriving. They are much happy elsewhere. I do like the lightness of the bags and it allows me to move the plants around until I can find their happy spot. I have a problem keeping the soil moist in these so I am planning to change my soil to something that will retain a bit more water. Overall, I like them but I prefer my raised beds more.
