So, as I was searching the internet one night for a product to help my adult cystic acne, I came across these glycolic acid treatment pads. The reviews were great, and they were also supposed to help with fine lines and wrinkles! I was VERY skeptical for sure, but I was also desperate, so I ordered them. After one week of using this product, I noticed my pores were definitely not as noticeable and my acne was greatly improving! I was still thinking there's no way this product is this great! I also noticed that my skin looked brighter and healthier as well. So, I was nearing the end of the jar, and I began to notice that my forehead lines were softening and my laugh lines were also not as noticeable as before. I was officially sold on this product! Not only had it basically cleared up my skin (aside from a hormonal related pimple here and there near my cycle), but my skin also appeared so much more youthful! I am so excited about this product and hope that everyone suffering from adult acne will give it a shot! I know everyone's skin is different, and what worked for me may not work for everyone. However, this product will help exfoliate and cleanse the dirt and grime away from your skin no matter what. So, it definitely won't hurt to try, and it's a great value as well. I am definitely singing the praises of my new found go-to product for acne and wrinkles! This product may cause stinging when you first begin to use it, especially if you have never used glycolic acid products before. It wasn't that bad for me, and would only sting for a few seconds, so I didn't have any issues continuing to use the 20% strength. However, if you do have really sensitive skin, I suggest that you start with the 10 or 15% strength glycolic acid pads. Glycolix makes those strengths as well. Good luck! Bottom line: try these if you're looking for something to help rid you of stubborn adult acne, or if you're simply looking for something to help with anti-aging or to help with wrinkles that have already formed. This product really is great!

Amazing product. I can't begin to say what a positive difference these have made on my skin. I use them every 3 days, after I wash my face before bed. I wipe the pad all over my face, neck, and chest. When dry, and I can feel the action of the product has stopped ( a tiny tingly stinging) I wait about 5 minutes, then apply vit c serum. Then when it is absorbed, I put on hyaluronic serum, let it dry and top with a moisturizer. When I wake in the morning my skin feels so renewed and silky soft. I peel ever so slightly about 2 days later, but nothing a microfiber cloth can lift off of my skin. Skin sheds naturally anyway, so...... These leave my skin feeling clean, and the pores on my skin have reduced in size. I am truly very impressed with these pads. I make my own serums and crèmes, and have wanted to find the right pad for glycolic acid. I have noticed my breakouts has reduced about 95%, too. I use salicylic acid for spot tx, but don't need to use it as much, as these remove the top layer of skin and bacteria, just as glycolic acid is known to do. I can now wear airbrushed foundation, and it just looks so clean and natural. I noticed only a light (very light) almost minty scent to the product, but no chemical or mediciney (sp) smells. Just a very pure and clean product. I can not recommend these highly enough. They do work, and exactly as stated. They came very well packaged, and as with all Amazon orders...within a couple of days. I will be ordering these again as needed. The jar of 60 pads is going to last a good couple of months (for me) so the price is very fair. I LOVE these pads! Give them a try if you are looking to add a glycolic acid product to your skin care regime. I am 59 yrs old so if I am getting these results, younger skin will surely benefit.

If I wasn't so bashful I would have taken before and after photos. Where to begin? First off, I did not receive this produce free and/or discounted. No bribery of any kind. I'm almost 38 years old, and had the worst skin ever. It started when I was a teenager. Not only did I have bad skin, I had OCD. The combination of the two led to compulsive skin picking. Years later I have all these self-inflicted scarring. I have hypopigmentation, hyperpigmentation, ice pick and rolling scars, large pores, and I still had acne! For those of you looking for a miracle, this is no miracle. You must have reasonable expectations. No this has not fixed my icepick and rolling box car scars, nor has it fixed my hypopigmentation. But after 3 weeks of use while using it just a couple two to three times a week along with a rich vitamin C serum, my skin looks 1000% better! I was wearing such heavy make up to cover my ugly skin. But as of this week, I've been able to cut it down to just spot concealer. My skin is free of redness, so smooth, no acne, almost no blackheads. The improvement is so huge that I'm now sporting a fresh looking and younger looking face. It's so smooth now, it makes all the other imperfections less apparent. Hyperpigmentation is gone, and pores are smaller too. Just a side note, months ago I was using the vitamin C serum alone with no real changes. So I attribute the huge changes to this product here and not the serum. I do suggest you test a small patch of skin if your skin is sensitive. I don't have sensitive skin so I did not experience any redness, rashes. Maybe a small amount of flaking the first week, but that stopped after week two. And I've been careful to wear sunscreen too. Because my break-outs and black heads are 99% gone, I no longer feel tempted to pick away at my face. This product has been a god-send. If only I had this product when I was a teenager. Wouldn't we all love to turn back time knowing what we know now?

This product is the BEST!! I have sensitive skin, which has been scarred by acne. While I no longer breakout, I still have the unsightly scars. Well, I did, until I began using these pads once a day. They not only make your skin feel smooth as butter, they've managed to get rid of my dark marks far faster than using the expensive department store products. Some people on here say that it's made their pores smaller. This hasn't been my experience. My pores aren't larger, they just aren't any smaller. Perhaps, I should start using the pads less? I have sensitive skin and over exfoliation can make your pores inflamed, which make them larger. This treatment will burn a bit upon initial application after you've been using it for awhile. It's only temporary. If you don't feel as though you can handle the tingle, don't use the pads everyday. ***KEEP AWAY FROM YOUR EYES*** I read someone say that it made their wrinkles/fine lines fade... I rubbed a pad on my under eye area for 2 days and by the third, I had a NEW fold under my eyes! I'm in my twenties and only had 1 barely visible line before. I stopped using it under my eyes and about 4 days later, my eye area was normal again. Glycolix Elite makes products for your eyes and if you're actually having wrinkle issues, I'd suggest those as this product is too strong to be used on your sensitive eye area... especially if you already have sensitive skin like moi. Using these pads have given me so much confidence that I don't have to fret about slathering on concealer and foundation before being seen in public! They've also saving me the expense of going to the dermatologist to have laser treatments on my face and neck to remove those spots. When I first started using the pads, I used them twice a day (mornings and nights) for about 5 days. Then, 2x a day was unbearable and I changed to only applying at night, before bed. I deducted a star because this is my 3rd jar of these pads and I cannot seem to figure out a way to keep them from getting mold/mildew on the inner cap. They remain upright in a dry cabinet, yet the cardboard liner in the jar's lid soaks up the product on the pads. I tried to resolve this issue by cutting a piece of foil and inserting it in the cap, but that's when the mildew came. I had all of the "treatment" still in my pads, but a cap with mildew. Eww.

Ok so I think the most important thing for people to know when purchasing these treatment pads is that they are more toner pads with glycolic acid in them than a true glycolic acid treatment. When I ordered them I was looking for a straight glycolic acid treatment, one that you need to leave on your face and then wash off eventually. These are not like that. Just like any other product that says it has glycolic acid in it, you use these on your face, let dry and continue with your skincare regimen. That being said, for what they are, I really like them. I use after cleansing and they make my face feel really smooth, and I usually wake up in the morning feeling like my skin is still really hydrated and looking better than the day before. They do not, however, offer the type of exfoliating/resurfacing type of benefits that a true glycolic acid would, obviously. I wish I took before and current pictures because I feel like they have helped the "ruddiness" of my skin, but I still have breakouts and am forever wishing my pores looked smaller. I started off using every other day at night, and then every night and now I'm starting to use every day morning and night. The 20%, for my dry skin is truly not too much. If you use any kind of hair removal cream or do laser on your face DO NOT use these for a week prior. I can testify that this is a bad combination. It is no fault of the treatment pads, just a bad combination. Also don't use the pads too close to your eyes. They are safe on neck and decollete. If you're looking for a little extra umph in the toner portion of your skin care regimen I would definitely recommend these!

These pads are the best. They dissolve whiteheads almost immediately and they are great for dissolving milia over time. They might be too strong for sensitive skin, but for middle aged men, they’re perfect. It’s great not having to go to the dermatologist to buy such an effective product.

I want to start off by saying if you have never used glycolic acid before please do not buy this. You need to get your skin used to it before you use this 20%. You will have some pretty severe breakouts and sensitivity otherwise. If you have used glycolic acid before then I think this will work well for you. This is not the usual brand I buy but the one I prefer was unavailable at the time I needed it. To start with the pads, unlike what I usually use, are not textured in anyway. I liked having the texture because I feel like it adds a little bit of exfoliation. Even though these pads are untextured I do feel like they covered my full face using just one. One con is that these pads and the container in general are not very wet. These are damp and there is nothing in the bottom of the container for them to continue soaking up the solution. I haven't reached the bottom of these yet but I am concerned they will be too dry when I get to the last few pads. My skin does feel very soft and smooth the next day after I use them so I do not doubt the strength of the acid. I really believe that these are 20%. There is one thing about these pads that other brands do not have that you should be aware of. I usually read all the ingredients before I buy a skin care product. Somehow I missed it on Amazon that these pads contain menthol in the ingredient list. When you put a pad on your face you can instantly feel the cold from the menthol. At first I didn't mind because it makes the stinging from the acid less. After a few uses the mint was overpowering and my face felt like it was burning for about 10 minutes after putting the acid on. If you are someone that loves menthol in your products, like I used to be, then I think you will love these. I on the other hand have moved away from products containing menthol. Overall these aren't terrible but they were just not a good enough substitute for my preferred acid peel. I use these every three days and use retin-A the other days. Follow up with either a gel moisturizer or some rosehip oil about an hour after using these to prevent any flaking or dryness the next day. I usually wait an hour just to make sure the acid has had time to work but if you have sensitive skin you may want to either wash the solution off after 10-20 minutes or put moisturizer on soon after applying this. Also for any of you wondering, I strongly recommend the Touch brand of 20% glycolic acid pads if you want something without menthol. If you are ok with the cooling after then stick with these. I knocked off one star for the menthol and one for the fact that the pads are on the drier side.

Waited a over month to review this to see how it worked This is a good product. It has really helped my skin. I use one pad at night only as it can dry. Wait 10 min as instructed and then put on moisturizer. My skin is very smooth and my pores are smaller. I take the pad and fold over the used side and put it back in the jar and use the unused side the next night since there is still enough liquid on the pad. It has faded my age spots a bit, but not completely. Overall my skin tone is more even. It has even stopped breakouts from sunscreen that I used to get. This works by dissolving the stuff that holds your cells together which speeds up cell production. Being 62 my cells are pretty sluggish. I now have baby soft skin! No one believes my age. Make sure use use sunscreen everyday, both good for your skin and because this reveals new skin which is more likely to burn. I will reorder this product again. UPDATE Still love this product. It has continued to fade spots on my skin. My skins so soft. I no longer use abrasive exfoliants. I now use one pad every day, one side in the am and one in the pm. Just reordered If you have enlarged pores this is a great product. It will sting a little but is is an acid. Does not dry out my combination skin. So happy with this product.
