Q: Can this do 0.003 inch depth when electro etching with this?

Not sure how deep but does a nice job on hardened steel.

Q: Does this tape have instructions for etching? What is the recommended electrolyte and current?

No instructions as the tape could be used in a variety of ways. I use straight vinegar. I attach a clip to the wet end of a q-tip and the other to the metal I am etching. I use 12 v. DC, but a 9 v battery would work as well. There are plenty of u-tube videos that explain the process.

Q: will this work in the pth 110?

Any Brother stencil tape. Best buy is P-Touch with its range of tapes. Stencil tape .7. Software with P-touch great on Mac for making images and lettering.
