CARMEL ORGANICS Henna Leaves Powder 8 Ounce

Possibly my new favorite henna. I love the additional plants, and was surprised to find that my hair seemed to require no oxidation time. After some research it seems the Alma may have been to thank for this! The powder is very fine, and produces a strong dye despite not being 100% henna. The added plants seem to have a great effect on my scalp health and I also feel like my hair is softer than with 100% henna. I have recommended this to other henna gals I know.

I use it to dye my hair, gives good long lasting results with good color release. No grittiness, I can tell it’s been sifted a lot, washed out and didn’t clog my drain at all, would recommend

I have been using henna and indigo To create natural black hair color. I have some grey hair and covered good. I leave 30 minutes each product and come out perfect. More use this product my hair get shiny. I will keep using it.

Wife thought it was good but only bought once

The color indicated dark brown and it left my hair completely orange. I had to use hair coloring with peroxide right away to remove that orange looking color. I couldn't get it all out!

When buying expensive highly quality Henna you expect it to be sifted properly & not to have that much things coming out from you hair when its dry after the shower ((photo attached)).. In addition, I believe pure henna should be more to green .... this one is more to brown... ? all in all... not a bad product but its over priced compare to the quality & over rated .... actually the high price made me though it would be super ... its not..

Although the henna process takes longer than salon or box color, it’s so much better for you hair, and leaves it feeling and looking great!

Very good product

It’s been using this henna for 2 years now. The henna covers greys naturally by giving them a dark brown colour. It’s herbal so safe for the hair and scalp. My hair isn’t dry post usage as I always condition my hair well. I use only the henna and not indigo as I want a brown shade in colour. As per my hair growth requirement, I use the henna once a month. After 4-5 usage of shampoo the colours becomes lighter but doesn’t completely fade. Once my grey roots emerge I colour them again. I’ve tried other Organic henna too but Carmel Organics henna works best for my hair. The complete process for henna application requires 2-3 days but since it’s herbal and does its job well, it’s worth all the hassle. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to colour their greys but not with chemicals or dyes.

Folks this really worked for me. First I soaked henna in warm water for 4 hours. Then applied henna for 4 hours on washed and dried hair. Then next day I applied indigo immediately after mixing with little salt, lemon and warm water. Left it for 2 hours. Outcome... pitch black hair. Few tips I got from my neighbor who uses this regularly: 1. Wash hair to remove oil and all products prior to applying henna. You will get the reddish henna color with or without oil but Indigo will not stain if there is oil in the hair. 2. Let the hair dry after you wash the hair with henna. Then you can apply indigo anytime within 24 hours (before your hair gets oily again) 3. Don't use shampoo to rinse henna or indigo. Both should be rinsed in water only.
