Got rid of Mustard Algae using Applied Biochemists 406104A Swimtrine Plus Swimming Pool Algae & Deposit Control. Was using In the Swim polyquat 60 algae killer to no avail. Used according to their instructions and never got rid of the mustard algae. Besides the benefit of getting rid of the Mustard Algae, my pool water was crystal clear with no signs of Mustard Algae visible.

Have been using this product since 2006. After Katrina I couldn’t get the green out of my pool. My pool supply house suggested that I may hVe mustard algea and to try Swimtrine. It worked right away. I haven’t had any problems with algea since. I buy it by the gallon. It lasts almost 2 years. I highly recommend this product.
