LG Dash Cam, 2 Channel Front & Rear High-Res Dashboard Cameras, Mini Audio/Video Recording Dashcam, Accident Sensor, 3G G-Sensor Motion Detector, with 3.5 inch Screen, LG Innotek Dual Dashcam - 16GB

I always have been a fan of LG products and was in need of a new dash cam so I thought I would give this one a shot. The unit arrived on time and installation was a breeze. After few days of use, the unit started to reboot itself after saying "Please check your SD card". I reformatted the SD card which seemed to have solved the problem but still contacted the seller expressing my concerns. Seller took few days to respond and basically assured me that unit shouldn't have any issues moving forward. However, the unit kept rebooting itself even after I purchased a new SD card. By this time, I was one day past the one month return window. I contacted the seller asking for a fix but all I got was "You should contact Amazon". Amazon sent me a replacement unit but I am having the exact same problem so I think there is something wrong with this model in general. In addition, Video quality is not that great either. You can't even read a license plate off of other vehicles. Overall customer experience was bad and technical support from the seller is nonexistence.

I had this dash cam for a while and the picture quality was okay so it wasn't my concern until I started checking out the recordings. The recordings are cut off here and there to the point that I really don't see having this kept in my car. For certain days my recordings were only to certain parts of the day. I.e. me driving in the middle of the beltway on the way to work. Where is the recording from me starting up the car, getting out of the garage. It appears like everything is recording well while driving and that's really not the case when I plug sd card into the computer to check out the recording. I can't even locate the number for tech support either to inquire about anything. This was a big let down for paying over 100 bucks to capture nothing.

Great camera over all and easy to install. Works in the winter, temps have been low as -20 where I am and it has no problem turning on or detecting movement. Only draw back I have is, you are not able to turn it on without a power source to play back videos directly on the device. It does not mention on Amazon but you will require software on your computer to review videos. You can find the program on the LG Innotek site. I believe it was call Blackbox under the camera's support page. Over all it is a great camera for the price. I have been shopping for a while and all other cameras are well over $200 more than this.

It's been only 8 month since I bought and it stopped working. It keep saying check sd card but I changed as card and it still won't work. When buying this dash cam I thought it's LG brand and it will be good..but I was wrong.
