My grandson loves it

We got this for my 5 year old who is obsessed with cars. It was a stocking stuffer and ended up being his favorite gift. He reads it most nights. I will say the print is small so if you wear glasses you’ll need them to read it.

I bought this for my son for Christmas. It was a second hand product and was not in as great of shape as I would have preferred, yet I knew that my son would not care. If it would have been for someone else, I might have returned it just due to all the wear and tear of the book. In the end I am happy with it as my son was happy.

Bought as a Christmas present for my 8-yr-old son whose entire existence revolves around cars. He loves all the statistics in it.

I am a car guy, and this book is really good for those who are into cars and when on the go could read a little bit about them! 100/100 recommend.

Kitap aslında çok güzel ve detaylı. 2018 basımı 156 sayfa. 160'dan fazla araba hakkında bilgi var. Araba tiplerine göre (SUV, hybrid vs) farklı kategorilerde özelliklere değinilmiş. Tarihçe, arabanın yapısı gibi genel bilgiler kitabın en başında verilmiş. 2018 basımı olduğu için tabii ki o tarihten bugüne kadar piyasaya çıkmış araba modellerinin bilgisi bulunmuyor. Kitabı aslında kendim için almıştım ama elime ulaştığında boyutlarını görünce iade edecektim. Ancak küçük oğlum görüp sahiplendi. Ürün bilgilerinde boyutu hatalı yazılmış. Gerçek boyutu 12,5 cm yükseklik, 9,5 cm genişlik. Yani ürün adından da anlaşılabileceği gibi pocket yani cep kitabı. Kitabı almak isteyenler ürün özellikleri kısmındaki bilgiye (20 x 19 cm) bakarak yanılmasınlar, bu bilgi hatalı. Kitabın bu kadar küçük olmasının dezavantajı şu: tam sayfa ortasına denk gelen yazıları okumak zor oluyor, araba fotoğrafları daralıyor, sayfayı tam görmek için kitabı gerdiğinizde ciltli yerden yırtılma riski var. Özetle: araba meraklısı küçük çocuklar için ele avuca sığan, detaylı, kaliteli, cep boy bir kitap. Yetişkinler için DK'nın diğer tam boyut kitapları daha doğru bir seçim olacaktır.

Não tive muitas dúvidas ao comprar este livro por se tratar de um livro da DK. Tenho vários títulos da DK, todos muito bons. Mas ao receber este pelo correio levei um susto. Eu não tinha percebido que era um livro de bolso. Ele mede apenas 12,8 x 9,5 cm. É bem pequeno. E o conteúdo é bem simplificado também. Não se aprende muito sobre carros. São informações bem básicas e resumidas. O livro é mais para ver do que para ler. Com muitas fotos de carros, mas com poucas informações importantes. As 4 últimas páginas apresentam uma lista de informações do tipo: O primeiro acidente de carro aconteceu em... Os airbags foram inventados por... Os limpadores de pára brisas foram inventados em... Mesmo assim é pouco. Levando em conta o tamanho e o preço do livro, talvez a proposta seja esta mesmo. Talvez eu é que tenha tido uma expectativa exagerada em função dos outros livros que eu tenho da DK. Talvez seja apenas um livro para adolescentes. Mas atenção, o texto é em inglês.
