Transformers Prime Deluxe Soundwave (11-Pack)

One of the more complex types, this one never seems to quite transform all the way correctly and there's lot of small parts to lose and/or step on. Don't separate any of the pieces if you can avoid it. They never go back together correctly.

Son loves it. It was the cheapest soundwave that is deluxe size so it was a perfect buy. He's ten and learned to transform himself.

I got this transformers for my 7 year old who is an avid Transformers fan. He likes the toy quite a bit, but it is pretty flimsy, and comes apart/breaks easily. I guess it is better that it comes apart than actually breaking, but I ended up helping him put it back together the first several times. It's fun. I wish it were a little higher quality.

So here we have beast hunters Soundwave. Honestly, I was stoked to see the preview shots of this dude but then I actually got one. He is another heavy retool of a Prime deluxe. The issue is that all that retooling does not suit the mold or the character. In Transformers Prime, Soundwave is a sleek and specialized warrior/special ops workhorse. The extra frills and beasty bits just make no sense. Furthermore, said bits make the figure more unwieldy and interfere with transformation as well as articulation. The ravage add-on is all fine and well but overall I have to say pass on this one and check out the original deluxe. Soundwave should Keep It Simple Stupid.

I thought it was a larger toy than it looked like in the pic but my child was fine with the size it was what he expected

This is top quality transformer, the details are AMAZING! you will love it, it is quite complicated do!

And that's what matters! These toys are made to be abused so they endure all the tugs, pulls and twists!

my 8 year old loves it, very well made. easy for him to transform, and bits haven't fallen off even after 3 months
