Can it cut raw chicken?

I personally feel that raw chicken shouldn't be cut with an electric knife. Using a sharp knife is a safer way. Just cut into the joints of the bird. I've done it this way for all my cooking life. An electric knife could slip and splinter the bones. Also raw chicken could contaminate the electric knifes' seams, if not sanitized properly.

This doesn't come with a case? Who does that? I would buy if it did...

It really works great, and it’s inexpensive enough it would be worth it to buy a cheep case to put it in.

Which blades are for meat, and which are for bread

I couldn't remember but the instructions or paper work said which was which. sorry but I never keep that stuff
