Bose SoundLink Color II: Portable Bluetooth, Wireless Speaker with Microphone- Coral Red

I got this for my daughter for Christmas in red back in 2018. It’s still up and running and works perfectly. She brings it to the beach and plays it in her room. Worth every penny. Great quality and the color red is beautiful. The sound is perfection too! It connects to Bluetooth effortlessly. Easy set up.

The battery lasts a long time, the surface is easy to clean, and it is compact. Bluetooth works well, as well as the direct jack. It's a little annoying how it always tells me the battery life when I turn it on, but I suppose that's good for some people. I usually use it at home, so it's easy enough to find a plug when I need it. It lasts for a good while after you get the low battery please charge now message so you don't need to go running for the cord right away. I have the black one, I like it more than the colorful ones made for millennials and children...It's a nice silicone finish, so if I get stuff on it while baking or whatever it wipes right off. The sound quality isn't quite as good as my larger bose sound wave, but it's much better than other little portable speakers! It fills up the room well, and can get plenty loud enough for me. Don't spend less on the crummy brand, just get this one and you won't have to get another for a long time.

This speaker produces remarkably good sound, especially for its compact size. It was easy to connect to my iPhone, and takes a standard charging cord. Unfortunately, the cord did not come with it.

This thing is fantastic! Superb sound from a little BOSE speaker. Battery life isn’t super long but I never timed it. It lasts at least 2 hours. It’s perfect for around the house. Perfect for the deck or tinkering in the garage. I bring it room to room if I’m listing to Audible and cleaning. Music sounds decent, way better than similar sized speakers for $20-$75. I bought it on Prime Day and I wish I had bought a couple more. I think I only paid $80. I have had it for a few months and no issues. Sound is crisp and clear and even he’s decent base (not hardcore thumping but solid) when playing music. I was actually watching football (Bears won!) on my phone the other day and used the speaker and it sounded like I had a home theater on (just set it up across the room facing you). It really is one of those purchases that I’m just happy with, no let downs.

I am a musician/songwriter/producer with a very discerning ear, and I was stunningly surprised by the sound of this little gem ... the bass response was the very first thing I heard, and I really didn't "hear" it, I FELT it - the volume was way down (just out of the box) and one of my cats looked very concerned as she hates thunder and thought that's what is WAS, (as did I) ... as I slowly turned it up the other frequencies kicked in and the clarity and sound quality clearly was just as impressive. The pairing is quick and seamless, the controls very user-friendly, and the volume it reaches without sacrificing quality is beyond surprising for such a size ... I swore I'd never spend a lot on bluetooth speakers, (as I own a recording studio and have a great stereo system there and in my house), so I got one of these at a bit over a Franklin, and within twenty minutes of listening to the Bose Soundlink Color II, I bought ANOTHER, as they can be used in tandem and in true STEREO. The sound of both is really superb, and comparable to my very expensive studio near-field monitors. I rarely take the time to write reviews for Amazon, (though I buy almost everything here), but I just HAD to share the joy and pleasure of these little bargains! I love the midnight blue color as well, the water-resistance, the non-slip texturing, and the amazing battery life. A++

2 features are most important to me: good sound and durability (water resistance etc.). Price is of course a factor and assuming bt connectivity and other basic stuff is working as expected. I got this speaker during Prime Day which was a great deal - around 30% discount! I found that the sound quality is very impressive for the size of this speaker. I haven't heard many better sounding speakers this size. Cost wise, I think you can find similar sounding speakers for the same price as the original price of this item (without the discount) but they would be bigger in size. As always with any speaker that it 'compact' - one of the biggest questions would be the 'bass performance' i.e. how clear, deep etc are the lows. It seems like with bass there is no true replacement for size but this speaker does a decent job in providing pretty good lows with small size. There's also the mids and highs where quality matter a lot, and my thought was that this speaker does better in these areas than others I've seen (or actually heard). My view is that for a decent bass you'd have to go "one step" higher i.e. the next level of speaker size. It will of course impact portability so for compact speakers I would definitely recommend this one with the compromise of having less than perfect bass. Also, note that Bose only include 'splash resistance' with this speaker while others may offer full waterproof including submersion in water. One last thing: I love the design of this speaker and the silicon cover. Very sleek. Important to note though that this is not a "360" speaker.

I have one of these speakers and I absolutely love it. So while we were at our Father's Day celebration this year, my dad mentioned that he takes the old old radio we had in our bathroom from the house I grew up in outside to listen to his talk radio (I'm not lying to say the radio he uses is 30-35 years old). He also mentioned he loves using his iPad to play easy listening music on his other speaker but using that speaker means he needs to stay inside because it's not portable. Hearing this, my wife and I looked at each other and said we need to get him this Bose speaker. He can ditch the radio and listen to his easy listening music on his back porch and enjoy the weather. I took it up to him, showed him how to use it. I had to explain a few times how he can select an app on his iPad and listen to it on the speaker but he got it. The next day I got a text saying how it was so peaceful and nice to sit on his back porch and listen to Elvis on his speaker. My parents have a lot going on health wise and to hear my dad say how happy and relaxed he was listening to Elvis while sitting outside made my heart full.

After using this speaker for quite some time, I can say it's one of the best audio-tech purchases I've ever made. As you can see in the photos, I've put it through its paces on countless trips, the battery still holds up well, and people are often surprised by its volume despite its size.

Sound quality is loud and good but lacks the punchy bass available in devices of this price range. I got it on a discount sale though. The buttons feel could have been better. While it paired both my laptop and phone simultaneously, the volume drops to very low and i couldn't increase the volume by any means. Only after disconnecting both the devices and then repairing through my mobile, it worked fine. Probably a glitch. But other than that it's perfectly fine with good battery and loud performance.

It's beautifully compact. Looks great. Sound is good and if you place it 10cm or so from a wall, the bass is great. Perfect for use in a hotel room. Sounds way better than any UE product. You could get a minirig if you want to spend a bit more. Highly Recommended.

O som é surpreendentemente alto pro tamanho dela e não distorce. Mas acho que a melhor coisa nela é que tu pode ligar ela pelo celular, pelo app da Bose. Tu nunca precisa levantar pra ligar.
