This replica is just that; a replica. It’s beautiful. The types of metals used in the films and jewels will of course be different. It’s Hollywood. But I am an avid collector of LOTR replicas and I was not disappointed in the least. When I wear it I feel special, as everyone’s gaze draws to its luster and shining, elegant, look… I get many compliments and those who know what it is grow excited. The chain accompanies the elegant feel of it around one’s neck. The chain is very slim so take care, but sturdy enough. And it is NOT heavy! It sparkles in the sun and if you have any other silver jewelry it is the crown jewel you wear when going out with friends. TheNobleCollections always have great quality items. It used to come in a glass case that suspended it. Shame that is gone but you get a velvet sleeve and a box with elvish writing on the top. “One ring to rule” etc. it’s very pretty. So pretty I’m afraid to use it too much but I use a jewelry cleanser that keeps it as lustrous as the day I opened it. I highly recommend. Whether you’re a LOTR fan or just want this beautiful gem. I’m very pleased. (Buy jewelry cleaner in you intend to wear it frequently.

Bought this for my girlfriend as an alternative to the $150 solid silver piece, as I'm on a college budget here. I was a little nervous after seeing the picture with it's slight bluish color, but that turned out to be a result of less-than-stellar photography, not a reflection of the real thing. This thing shines bright, has plenty of weight to it, and looks just as breathtaking as solid silver. I suppose over time, this will be subject to a bit more wear and tear than the other, but I don't see that being a problem anytime soon.Packaging was great. The box it comes in is decorated with Elvish writing, and the necklace is further protected by a drawstring pouch, a plastic bag, and tissue paper. Needless to say, the item was in perfect condition upon arrival. Note that the box isn't quite up to par with the hinged jewelry box of the sterling silver version, but it's still pretty nice, and you get what you pay for.Also note that this item will not come with the same certificate of authenticity as the sterling silver, since it isn't technically the exact same pendant. But if you want this as a jewelry piece more than as a collectible, and you don't have $150 floating around, this is absolutely perfect. And yes, the girlfriend agrees!

It has heft to to; but not too heavy. It doesn't feel "cheap". It sparkles great, look amazing, and feels like the real thing! "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten."
