I got this water bottle/water jug for my teenage son for when he was doing marching band camp for 10 to 12 hours a day. He would fill it with ice water at the beginning of the day and it would keep his water cool all day and, he loved that it had a slot for him to put his phone in too. It has been easy to clean, and the shoulder strap has been super valuable while he was carrying his instrument for miles and needed to have his water bottle with him too. He has used it almost every day for a month now and it’s still works great. It does not leak at all, it looks nice, and water always taste clean. It has been so great that now I want to buy myself one too. Great purchase, and definitely a good value for the money spent.

This is my son's absolute favorite water bottle! Young athletes these days are all about hydration. This water bottle is huge and gets him through an entire school day without refills. The bottle comes with an awesome sleeve that has a shoulder strap attached for easy transport around school and to/from practice. After about 6 weeks of using the bottle, my son dropped it awkwardly and the bottle broke. I contacted customer service and they responded immediately. They replaced the water bottle and even added an extra bonus. So impressed, we will definitely be repeat customers.

First In Families of Mecklenburg County, a project of InReach is a nonprofit organization who supports individuals with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy or Traumatic Brain Injury and their family. This jug is amazing. It helps me keep hydrated throughout the day. I get made fun of at work. But in a jealous way. Haha. Great quality. I've dropped it a few times. Hasn't broken like other reviews have said it does. Update 7/2/2025: dropped the bottle straight down onto the bottom of the bottle from roughly 4 feet from the ground. The bottom of the bottle imploded and the water flowed out. oops. Id recommend being careful and not dropping it.

Great customer service. I have broken mine twice now (you have to be pretty careful as they are heavy and break more easily when they're full, although I am very hard on waterbottles), but their life time warranty is easy and straightforward to use with very friendly and helpful representatives. The white color is hard to keep clean, but other than that it is a good waterbottle. Because it only has the cloth insulating sleeve, it's not as good as a fully insulated waterbottle at keeping water cold but definitely better than a plain plastic waterbottle.

This is the best Gallon Bottle I have found through searching on Amazon. If you are looking for a bottle that’s easy to drink and bring with you places (which is never easy with a gallon water bottle) this is a great choice! I love the fact that it has the cover over the bottle but can also be easily removed. I didn’t use the shoulder strap it came with but they also included a short strap to hang on to that I find very useful! It’s nice having the shoulder strap, short handle, and attached handle included, as well as two different tops (straw and pop-open lid). I use the straw because I find it easier for me and I was happy to see the straw has a nice rubber feel to the tip instead of just being hard plastic! Overall very pleased. Thank you Hydro Gallon!

1/31/23 - The strap came broke. It seems like a few reviewers were having this issue. The strap is the reason I bought this water bottle. The water bottle is massive and spectacular but going to be a pain to carry everywhere so the strap is super convenient. I am currently using a removable strap from one of my purses lol. It works and my husband says it looks more "fashionable" lol. On a better note, the water bottle looks JUST like the pic, very big, perfect for someone trying to drink more water. Maybe not the entire gallon but at least I drank some! :D 2/1/23 - I spoke to Hyrdo Gallon about the strap and their customer service is ..... STELLAR! They rectified the situation. I am so happy with the resolution! Great company and awesome water bottle! I think I will purchase a sleeve too from them! I am very pleased.

Update: I received a newer model and it is very well constructed. There were several upgrades that appear to make the cover and gallon less fragile. There was no change to the spout or bottle opening itself. Those are killers for me. It is quite difficult to pour into a glass because of the angle of the spout compared to the handle. The gallon opening is on the small side and makes it quite hard to add scoops of supplements. If you don't add anything to your water or don't care about how the gallon pours, then this is a great gallon. Unfortunatly, it's just not for me. I've had several plastic gallons that have been about $10 cheaper than this one. I decided to spend a little extra to get one with a sleeve. I've owned it for about a week now. This is a very nice perk of this bottle. But there are also many drawbacks. First, the bottle opening is small. This makes it VERY difficult to use a bottle brush to clean. Also, it's quite tough to add scoops of supplements into. The spouted cap okay. Again, the spout itself is small and a bit more difficult to drink out of compared to others that I've used. The small spout doesn't lend itself to pour very easily. The vent hole is very close to the pouring spout with completely defeats the purpose because water comes out of it too. Although I have not broken this one quite yet, I fear that I will very soon. The plastic feels thin and not very durable and the sleeve has already begun to pop stitches. I've even picked our a new gallon and it awaits it's purchase in my cart. Hope this helps.

The hydro gallon jug is by far the most durable water jug I have ever found! I purchased last year for my husband who works outdoors and this has held up very well for a year of being carried around in temperatures ranging from freezing cold to very hot. The jug did crack after one year of daily use, but the customer service behind this product is outstanding. They truly stand behind their products and in less than 48 hours we had a new jug on its way. Cannot recommend this product enough, if you’re in the market for a large water bottle- order the hydrogallon!
